I'm looking for some top notch books on dependency/co-dependency, alcoholism, anger management and divorce. Also, if there might be a really good one on the male mid-life crisis.
Quite a list, huh? I'm doing some research and thought that you might have read or heard of some good ones. Thanks!!

I've only got one recommendation for all these categories:
"Anger: Wisdom for Cooling the Flames" by Thich Nhat Hanh
Sorry I'm not much help, but it is a really interesting read.

Sounds like a good one, Thanks! I'm hoping to get Pepperbands input on this one. She's read tons! But I know she's got family issues right now too.
Anyone else??

co-dependency: "Codependent No More" by Melody Beattie (or any books by her)
alcoholism: Any AA conference approved literature. "The Big Book" is a good start.
anger management: "The Dance of Anger" Harriet G. Lerner
divorce: how about "Divorce Busting"? Michele Weiner-Davis...
Male mid life crisis....hum...let me think and look. My husband did read several.

Thanks guys!!
Susan, I have Michelle-Weiner Davis's book on Divorce Busting...but I'm looking for something that might be more aimed at someone who has done all they could, but is divorcing anyway. I'm sure there are tons...I just wondered if anyone knew of one that was very good.

Hey, I should mention one I'm devouring right now, in case any of you are interested. It's by Dale Carnegie and it's called "How to stop worrying and Start living". It's just GREAT!! Really good read if you're dealing with a lot of stresses in your life!

We reconciled during the divorce process, but I liked Crazy Time --surviving divorce by Abigail Trafford.
