Hello All,
Just dropping in to see old friends!

For those of you that don't know me.... I'm [color:"blue"]ZebraBaby[/color] . This board saved my life and my sanity many years ago. I met so many fabulous people here who traveled the hard road of infidelity resulting in a child. I was one of the very blessed to receive a get out jail free card. The DNA results came back proving the OC was [color:"red"]NOT[/color] my husbands. This was after a year of visitation and non-court ordered child support.

My marriage today is stronger and happier than the day we got married. I recently read a book called, "My Husband's Affair Became the Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me" By Anne Bercht. And I can honestly say, I agree. Had he not had his affair we would have ended up divorced and our kids would be products of a broken home.

I hope all is well with those of you I know. And for those I don't know... do know that with both spouses working towards a recovered marriage, it CAN work.

You were one of the few that really helped me right after my arrival here.

I remember approaching you off-board the first time and feeling so nervous, but you made me feel very comfortable and safe talking about this whole experience.

We, too, have had some developments.
We have had primary custody of Lil Bit for over a year and a half now. Just finished going to court to get visitation re-organized. Now waiting for the call to go to court over child support.

So glad to hear things are going well and you still have Lil Bit. You always had such a huge heart and we all envied you for that. I bet she's getting big. What a blessing for her to have such an awesome Other Mother! I've said it before... and I'll say it again. God has a special place in heaven for you! And while on this earth he's gonna keep you in his favor!

Great to see you too. And glad that your are still active on the boards.

Hi Ladies,

Just dropped in after a one-year absence.
I am glad to see that many of the old gang
drop by once in a while and that all of you
are doing so well.

Things are good for us also. Our boys
are, as the social worker says, "growing and
thriving." Our oldest, Pie-Pie, is away for a
week on his first youth group trip and first
time away from me since the adoption 3 years
ago. Younger son, Bean-Bean, is away with Mr. J
for a few days visiting Mr. J's parents and
watching a professional tennis tournament.

We are 5 years past D-day and life is good. Mr. J's
business is growing steadily and I am back at
work after a year of unemployment. Precious (OC)
is coming to stay with us for a week in August.
We took the boys out to see her last year. The trip
was a great success except for too much contact
with ex-OW.

I thought about the affair about a month ago and
felt sick to my stomach. I calmed myself by thinking
it ended 5 years ago and I have nothing to worry
about. We lost too much of our lives to this mess
to let it disturb our lives any longer.

So good to see you and hear the boys and OC are doing so well.

Triggers come few and far between these days... but when they do... I say a prayer and go kiss my hubby!
