Hang on to your ten-gallon hats, Texan friends! There's a big one coming your way! Tropical storm Hermine is on its way, and may develop into a hurricane by the time it gets to you.

I'm up north sending you good luck wishes that it blows out before it gets there. pray

No no, Sugar. It's the way those people talk down there. You know, haven't you ever heard of Texas women who try on a dress and then turn to their husbands and say "Does this dress make my donkey look big?"

Stop confusing the foreigners, people, they are already confused enough! sigh Sugarcane, donkey is another word for "[censored]." get it? grin

I think a hurricane already came through. It has been raining all day! Nooo

If a Hurricane is headed in, I am making reservations at a nice hotel inland. My personal motto of "HELL NO, WE WON'T GO" was shattered during Hurricane Ike. Never again!! dramaqueen

Is the donkey thing just a North American thing then? I thought everyone knew it was an azz.

This reminds me of a fight I had with a girl when we were 16. We were insulting eachother over the phone and she said, "Oh you DONKEY." I was a real smartazz and I said, "Oh, that hurt." And I started laffing.

I am glad that the hurricane will miss you. By the time they get up to Niagara, they are just storms. Worst thing we get is blizzards and as long as we have heat, we are fine. Keep safe all MBers. laugh

Well, if it's going to miss Melody then surely it's going to miss me? I have no TV right now, so I'm clueless as to what's going on in the world.

Looks like we've got flash floods coming our way from that system. Great! Last week I got completely soaked walking to the train when that same morning had been bright and sunny. rant2

Gotta love Texas weather. Don't like it? Stick around, it'll change.

Looks like it is going to miss us. Can this storm just be selective and blow PP out into the wind and bounce around and we can find her under the house.

Okay. So you Texans kiss donkeys and monkeys. And now you're telling us that you actually want a strong wind to come along and blow urine around your house. My goodness - you people certainly have some strange customs down there!
