Hi im new here!!! anyway b4 i even start i should point out that i always thought this was true and now im experiencing it first hand. My wife and I got married on te first of July and we have lived separated from each other up until november( im an active duty Marine) the problem is that i want to spend all my free time with her as i possibly can, but somewhere along the line somebody told her that it isn't healthy for couples to spend so much time together. since we've been living together we still have had to be separated dur to certain issues, whether it'd be work, medical reasons whatever she'd have to stay at her mom's house. i only see her on the weekends, but were supposed to be living together.

she doesn't feel also like she should give up her old friends and spend the same amount of time with them as she did before i was able to live with her. to be honest im jealous of that time spent. i know for a fact that she aint cheating because she dont like people like that, men especially. i was her best friend for ten years b4 we hooked up. but. she is so convinced that it is unhealthy for us to spend so much time togheter, when in actuality it feels now like we spend less time together than we did when i could only come home every four months or so.

Is it unhealthy? im not asking for 24/7 because that is impossible. but as a newlywed couple, why do i feel as though i am wrong for wanting to be with her every chance i get. like i was saying in the beginning, why is it that when a woman wants to spend so much time with her man its ok, but when its the other way around the man is made to feel like a punk? what do u think?

is it unhealthy? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

It's not unhealthy I'd be in your boat too My wife and I own our own business and we are together pretty much 24/7 She had to go away for a couple days and honestly we missed each other like crazy. I also have some friends who barely spend anytime together. It just depends on the person.
