Thanks Mom! Potty training...how I remember that! My son was the most fun. Trying to make him understand that he had to stand still and aim...not an easy task!! LOL!! Enjoy! they grow up so fast!
I will be sure to let everyone know how things are going when I move. HOpefully everything will go smoothly! I am off to a Christening. My husband's sister's baby. He won't be there. Claims he is on-call for work and it is too far to travel. but, Julie's daughter is graduating today, so I think he is probably going to that. Oh well, his loss! Have a good day MOM! Have fun w/ that potty training! BH

Oooops! I meant the verse from Proverbs to describe your H and OW's behavior of remaining in their relationship after all their drunken fights! I'm sure it's safe to assume that this was only one of many arguments--just the first time they both ran to your house!
As for your daughter, I believe she will come to you one day when she is all grown up and say, "MOM! I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT DAD PUT YOU THROUGH!" Right now, she believes she needs her dad and in time, she will see that maybe her dad isn't healthy enough to give her what she needs (STABILITY)!!! Keep trusting God with your daughter's decisions. He cares for everything that concerns us--especially our kids! ((((HUGS))))

BTDT - I should be the one who says OOOPS...I knew you were referring to H and OW w/ the Proverb. For some reason, I just ran right into the next thought about my daughter. When I went back and reread it, you would certainly think I was referring to my daughter! I guess I really did need some sleep!! LOL.
Val still hasn't made her decision and I know she is really struggling with it. I told her that whatever she decides it has to be her decision with no pressure from her father or myself and that my door would always be open for her. It was hard to do, but I know it was the right thing.
Thanks BTDT! BH

Thanks everyone for your concern! I am doing OK. It has been a really difficult week. My dog got sick (either HGE - which is a parasite, or she was poisoned somehow) She is OK now, but it was touch and go for a few days. Of course, my first reaction was that Julie had something to do with this, but she is a huge animal lover and now that I am more rational, I don't think she could have done something to hurt Samantha.
We are getting somewhat over what happened to Samantha and last night Valerie got into a car accident! She has some bruised ribs and is quite sore, but she is OK and so is everyone else. I have one week left and then my new life begins.
My lawyer is supposed to be lifting the restraining order against our finances so the sale of the house can go through AND IT HASN'T BEEN DONE YET!! I just don't think I could take it if this sale doesn't go through. Ya know, there is only so much a person can take!
Valerie has decided to live with Ralph and Julie. It is the most logical choice in her mind. so, I am trying to be supportive and understanding. It is very difficult, but I think I am doing an OK job.
Well, now aren't you glad you asked how I am doing??? wow, I really sound pathetic! One week to go and then I know things will get better. Thanks for your concern. Hugs to all! BH
