LOL!!! Pepperband I agree!
You see xOW was a dog person (but she would have been arrested for animal cruelty, let her little dog die slowly and as painfully as possible from several cancers because she just was too lazy to take it to the vet, and it was too expensive, it couldn't be compatible with all the clothes and make up she was buying).
My H likes kitties, YAY! I really couldn't have married someone that didn't like them

LOL..you guys are too funny. I have brand new barn kitties. Just got within 2 feet of one and caught another one (I don't think the wounds will scar). Trying to get them atleast tame enough to let us spoil them once in a while. My husband is just sure I"ll turn them all into porch kitties. Hee hee...well, I'll try!!
I can understand you wanting your kitties with you JR. Whatever she agreed to when this was just a bad dream...might not be so agreeable to her now that her nightmare has come true. A nightmare of her own making...but she certainly won't see it as such for a while. Do the best you can at figuring out anything that will need to be discussed and do it all at once. She'll certainly use it as an opportunity to "soothe" but now that you're in plan B I don't suggest lettin it go any further than that.
Personally I like cats AND dogs (and gerbils and rabbits and mice and fish and and and...)...but my cat is FAR more dignified than the stinky dog that likes to belch in my face when I go to give him a smooch. Dogs are an awful lot like men...I'll give you that one WAT.

J.R. - sorry some of us hijacked your thread. Take that as a sign that we think you're doing a good job.

quote:
Originally posted by hope4future:

Hey I don't mind piling on here - my cats would undoubtedly be impressed they inspired such discussion... if they actually gave a rats a$$ about anything, that is

Dogs are a lot like men! Not only for their love of butt sniffing (good one, H4F) , but also, dogs and men tend to gulp their food down and make lots of slurping noises while eating.
P

Hee hee
I've come to have an avid disliking for Collies...those looooong noses are a bit too intrusive!! After one of their "introductions" you walk away feeling like you've just had a colonoscopy!
