Hang in there BH...only a few more hours.
We spent many years in Winthrop...my exh's family used to have a lake house there. It used to be so much fun.
Are you on the coast? We used to have a house in York...loved it there. I miss Maine so much. Guess I won't be going there for awhile tho.
I have been doing a lot of house work too. I just finished sponge painting my bedroom. It turned out great. It was fun too. Now, everyone wants their room painted. Keeps me busy.
You know my H flew B2s....the guy I have been seeing is in the army. My youngest...my son decided he wants his room painted in camoflauge colors with an army tank. I laughingly said to my friend...yep, we can do that only if the tank is shooting down the B2. Just kidding of course....Can you imagine when my exH hears that his room is painted army colors. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> A little revenge is healthy sometimes. Hi MnM. Thanks for giving me a laugh! Did you go to Winthrop, Mass or Winthrop, Maine? I lived in Winthrop Mass. Now I am in Berwick Maine which is about 20 minutes away from York. I love it here. It is so quiet and peaceful. I used to go to sleep with airplanes overhead, now I can't sleep because of the crickets! LOL! A friend of mine is going to tape the sounds of airplanes so it will help me sleep! MOst people need the sounds of nature, not me...give the good old noisy planes!! Thanks again MnM. Have fun with all of the painting! Camofluage (?spelling) ....what a great idea! BH

Winthrop, Maine....sorry guess I wasn't paying attention.
We were stationed at Pease AFB...had a ton of friends in that little subdivision in South Berwick. I love it there...what a beautiful place. We had a townhouse made from a 250 year old farmhouse. There were five units...we were in one of the ones in the barn. It was great. Mandy can say she was raised in a barn. We went back two years ago--still looked great. Close to--I think it was called the York river. We lived on Birch Hill Road. I remember we took a left by Kittery Trading Post and then traveled for awhile until you came to Birch Hill road...out in the country, but only about 10 minutes from York beach. Probably one of my favorite places to live. I used to work at the Univsity of New Hampshire....the drive was so beautiful going across the bridges by Portsmouth. I loved going to work.
Have you been to Prescott Park this summer and seen any of the plays. I used to love going there. We were there when they were trying to bring the Albacore in and make a museum out of it. That was such a fiasco--but so much fun to watch. I loved the drawbridge there. ***Sigh*** You can tell, I really miss the area. Hang in there...you will make it through these next few hours. Pat

I'll have to find out where Prescott Park is. It sounds like a nice place to go. I love plays! It is beautiful up here. I'm not too far away from the shopping centers, cinemas, etc. Everything is within 15 minutes. It is great. You get the peacefulness of the country with all of the conveniences. Thanks MnM...I will hang in there.
Tomorrow will be a nice day for me. My whole family will be going to Glen Ellis Falls, NH for the day. It is my Mom's birthday and we all get together for the whole day. It will be fun! All of my kids will be there, so I know I will enjoy it. I can't wait!!

Prescott Park is in downtown Portsmouth...right by the river. There are beautiful flower gardens all around. The original buildings of Portsmouth are there--part of a museum display. It is gorgeous. They put on a number of plays each summer. I think they were off Broadway plays. We saw Nunsense there two years ago. Everyone just brings food, lawn chairs, and blankets if it is cold--hope you get there. It is really fun.
Have a great time in NH tomorrow. Take Care Pat

Had a great time yesterday! Took my mind off of my problems for a little while. It was great to be with the family and having all of my kids together! Prescott Park sounds great, MnM, can't wait to check it out.
Thanks everyone for helping get through a difficult weekend! You all helped me feel so much better! You guys are awesome! BH
