First and foremost, I want to thank all of you that replied to my last post. Your thoughts, prayers and well wishes are greatly appreciated. My mother passed away tonight. I was with her until about 8:30. I got the call around 10:00. I wish I had been there. My family and I are doing fine. I'm happy that she is in a better place and reunited with my father. Thanks again to all of you.

Sorry,

I held my father's hand when he passed. I know the feeling.

I'm truly sorry.

SD,
I am sorry for your loss. I know you wanted to be there when she died but your mom knows you were always with her in spirit and physically as much as possible.
Take care of yourself,

Maybe now you can fully mourn her passing and maybe your marriage at the same time. We're here whenever you need to talk. (((saddad)))

I'm thinking of your mom and your family. I'm sorry for your loss. ///sad dad\\\ May I suggest that you compile a memory book about your mother for your daughter so she can know her grandmom. It will also help you to remember the happy times in spite of your sadness.

Take care,
Estes

We're reminded about what love really means at times like these... I hope all families in pain take a moment to reflect. Wishing well you and yours...

God bless you and your family...

Your mom is in peace now... and I believes she remembers everything, and feels no pain... and yes, she is with your dad... it brings comfort to you, I pray.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We had a family member die of Alzheimer's last year at this time, and my MIL is now suffering the early symptoms. Two friends' parents also - I know that it is rough. May she now be at peace and restored to her full self in God's loving presence.
