This friday I don't have daycare for D. Daycare provider's D is in playoffs or something like that. H made plans with brother. MIL was going to take D when I went to work. I could ask her if she will take her earlier. That might be possible.

Sue if you can find a sitter then let do it on Friday! I have to work and won't be checking here until the end of the day, so if Friday works than go ahead and set it up.

Thanks

I'm still waiting to here back from my sitter. She won't be able to get back to me until she gets home. Won't be till late.

If the rest want to set something up, go for it. I will let you know if I can make it. If not, then maybe second one could be set up later, and I might be able to make that one.

I was not abel to get back on to say I'm not available for today, but I am for a future date.

Luki is out of town until March 3 (I think). That should be enough time to arrange a get together somewhere.

Does anyone know of a good location that serves all types of foods to meet everybody's preferances, and reasonable prices, don't want to tax someone's budget.

(No, I am not arranging this, just making some suggestions.)

Thought I'd bring this thread up again-

So, do we still have an interest in this?

Sue I was just thinking of reviving this thread also. Great minds think alike.

I would love to do this! Work has started to slow down again so I will have more time to meet. I was also thinking of posting this in the EN forum to maybe get more response.

Anyone?

I would be interested in doing lunch, but I would have to know in advance to try and find someone to watch my youngest.

I am so ready to get away for a couple of hour, that is something I havent done in a long time. That would be

How about if someone (or a couple of someones) pick a date, a time, and a place. And then whoever can show up does so. It seems unlikely that we would ever find a time that would work for everyone.... but there's no reason this has to be limited to a one time thing either.

So, how about Chevy's by MoA 1pm on the 19th?

Fast/good service. Good food. Reasonably priced. Centrally located.

Other suggestions?

cerri- you are such a take-charge type of person, you rock.

Chevy's Mall of America would be great, but could we do it on March 12th instead? I am out of town Mar. 17 to April 2.

So what does everyone think? Mar 12 Chevy's at Mall of America at 1PM?

My family calls it bossy and overbearing!! I think my brothers are still traumatized, 24 years after I left home! LOL

To be precise (for those who are unfamiliar with it, like me) - this is Chevy's BY Mall of America, not IN Mall of America, right?

John-Yeah Cerri responded in the EN thread that is it on the south side, across the street from the mall.

Hope that helps, can you make the 12th?

How can you not know where Chevy's is????? JK.... I guess not everyone in MN hangs out at MoA the way we do. Our standing joke is that we should just live there, since we constantly seem to be at or driving past the mall.

Can you make the 12th?

Unfortunately, my favorite Thai restaurant americanized it's menu somewhat when it moved to Roseville . I'm not even sure it's my favorite Thai restaurant anymore. (I wonder if I brought enough people along to lunch I could get him to make that brown sauce for his spring rolls again...)

I can probably make it. Have to check w/ wife...

I replied on the EN thread,
I avoid the MoA, too many people, if I can make it, I will find it. I know how to get to the Mall, if I have to, I will drive around it.
