Dear Mymove, I clicked over and read your story and I want to tell you that your courage is amazing and wonderful.Thank you for sharing something that is more help to us BS's than you can know. Also a help to WS's and those who come here considering having an A.
I am sorry that you have had to go through this hell on earth.Thank you for reaching out in all honesty to others. I sincerely hope that you find healing and recovery.

Hearthealing,

Lions,

quote:
I came close myself one time a few years ago to an EA (she was a co-worker divorced woman who took walks with me at lunch; she was a fellow Christian and had similar interests but was giving me signals she was open to more than just friendship after awhile). I quit taking walks with her when I sensed it was starting to get more involved than just friendship. Before I stopped taking walks with her I prayed about it and told my wife, who agreed I should stop so I did. I have only had acquaintances with other women since that time since I realized I had been inadvertently playing with fire and had almost gotten burned by it.

Let me validate you again.
You have got it right. You are not paranoid. You are functional, alert, moral and very wise.Keep up the good thinking and the good work. kk

Thanks, Kings Kid, Rob S, My Move, and HeartHealing for sharing your hearts. You are all awesome and I will keep you in my prayers, as I hope you keep me in yours. You all have answered my question very thoroughly and I feel comfortable that I am doing the right thing for our M by requesting my W to not have any "friendships" beyond the acquaintance level in the future with other men. Thanks again everyone. I got the answers and support I was looking for on this topic and can continue to move forward with my recovery ....
