Dr. Harley and Steve Harley are NOT the same person ya know....... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> Willard is the dad and the brilliant mind behind MB. He refined his concepts and thoughts over years of clinical practice, and then wrote the books and then did the site. He no longer sees clients.
Steve is his son. He manages this huge site. And what a job that must be! He does coaching via phone. I've never heard Steve speak at any of the weekends or conferences, I think he does more the techy stuff.
If you want to invite the Harleys, I might be able to help with that. Let's get the date, place, etc. worked out and then I would be willing to take it to them. If they won't come, maybe you'd have to settle for me.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />
I really like the idea of Chicago. Airports, stuff to do, lots of possiblities for accomodations. I have a friend who owns a travel agency... I can get her to look into some things like reduced rates and such when we get to that point.
Kily and Imready... why don't we talk about how to set this up in a little more organized fashion and see what kind of interest you get around the boards.

Well since I live in the fine flat state known as Kansas I'd love to have it, here. Kansas City, Wichita, or Salina would accomidate all our needs, well maybe not all our needs but you get the picture...
And for those of you wondering Dorothy left me for the Magic Milk man and I lost TOTO in the divorce......

I wouldn't be able to afford the trip this year, but if it's an annual thing, then I can at least start saving for it now! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
Suggestions to think about: Kids or no kids? Adult only affair? Formal (convention centre) or casual (camping)? One overnight or two? And who will supply the NAME TAGS!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I love Chicago! Maybe we could get Oprah in on it? Just an idea. This way the good Dr. might have to go. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I've never posted on this board. But, saw the link on EN and would love to go. Whereever, whenever. Although, I'm close to Philly. And I could do New York.
Just think about name tags. We could have a game. Real first names on the tags, then we try to match people to their screen names. Of course, I'm rather obvious. Anne.

Don't shoot the messenger, but I've got an idea.
Take a map of the United States. Fold it in half, then fold it in half again (opposite direction this time) When you open the map the central point should be the meeting place.
At least this way, Californians, as well as New Yorkians, would have an equal distance to travel and the rest of us would fall where we are.
Whatcha think?
Okay, so if you don't like try blindfolding someone, throw a dart and see where it lands <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Well put in one vote for Atlanta but since the wife and love travel Chicago is not out of the question.
As for the Oprah show you will need to email them your suggestion for a show. Might shock you but you may be onto something.
I was involved with a charity group trying to raise scholarship money for a University of Florida football with terminal brain cancer. We contacted Oprah about the golf tournament we were doing to raise money.
We had too short of notice for Oprah but the Greg See Courage Classic raised the needed $50,000 to endow a perpetual scholarship in Greg's name.
Greg's mother, Martha, a year of so after his death wrote an article that later appeared in one of the Chicken Soup For The Soul books. Oprah had her and a bunch of others that were in that particular book on her show.
Give them plenty of lead time....like a year...and you might be surprised we all could wind up flying up to Chicago for free.
Another quick idea might be a Carnival Cruise trip for those interested.
