Yeah, we sat around all morning, then when we were called in around noon, it was 2 tell us they settled out of court. So, I'm off for at least a year.
I agree, laying low on the R talk for now. I just tucked her in so I could "do Mars" again 2night. I'll send you the shot I took last night. Even my W thinks it's purdy. And the seeing was kinda crummy last night. Looks better 2night.
She was smiling as we were laying there just chatting. Trouble with our lives is that the house is right there looking back at us, so we usually end up talking about it. But she said "it makes me feel good when you're happy." And I said, "me 2."
We have so much 2 slog through for so much longer, though. I try not 2 let it get me back down in the cesspool of imagination, though. It's easier these days, at least.

Okay, well, I was layin' low with the R talk, but my W wanted 2 talk R stuff this morning, so I was late 2 work.
It was the most glorious convo of the like we've had 2 date.
A snippet: my W brought up how RM is "more considerate of you than you give him credit for", 2 which I replied "the most considerate thing he could do for me would be 2 get out of our lives for the rest of his life" and she said "something like that is what he wants 2 do." I gathered from further discussion that the man's a mess. I wish I could say I care, but I simply don't. I don't care if he's the spittin' image of Jesus on the cross, he's got 2 go.
Was a very good morning.
Have a good weekend, folk units. If I remember more sig stuff, I'll post in between getting stuff done here at work.

I can't believe you went to work. I may have just said "lets take the day off and go for a drive, maybe we can find someplace private to eat lunch and a nice motel room to sleep tonight, get your purse."
On the other hand, I have been working lots of hours trying to catch up at work, so I may have gone to work.
Isn't real life hard sometimes.
Look forword to hearing from you.
You guys just need to make up your minds to have fun and enjoy life no matter how difficult the house and other not-so-fun stuff gets. Make it a game if you have to, but find a way.
I am glad for the good convos, but remember that there are cycles. Stay on your toes, or at least the balls of your feet.

Would have been cool, but she had 2 go talk 2 a friend that quit the prior job several months ago, and was a good friend and supervisor then.

Pulls a good vacuum at times, doesn't it?

We ac2ally talked about this almost verbatim. I think we're in agreement there. We can certainly wallow in misery all we want, but we shouldn't want 2.
"I am glad for the good convos, but remember that there are cycles."
Yep. Probably always will be, 2.
I did get more of the "marital prosti2tion" thing, and need 2 work 2ward understanding that better. She says it like she doesn't think my take on it a while back is all that accurate. Partly on the mark, but not entirely.
She also says she never wanted 2 be married, but the reasons for that are inconsistent, at least 2 me, with her choices over this time.
She talked a bit about the xfriend ratting, and agreed with something I'd said before about it maybe not having been delivered the way it sounds. I guess there's always room for doubt, at least. Probably not much there, but who knows. My W DID say that this Xfriend had urged her at the beginning of it all NOT 2 get a DV (because she had, and it was awful). So, she does still respect her some. But I told her that she should have DV'd me before things got out of hand with RM. I would have respected that more than what she chose 2 do, though it would have been just as devastating at the time as D-day was, perhaps.
She said that she's been afraid I'd just leave, or I might come home someday and say I've met someone at work with similar interests that I'm attracted 2, and that I'd want a DV. She said that she got this fear when I left in July last year for a week. I told her that I learned a lot about myself during that week, how I feel about plan Bs and stuff. I also said that after what we've been through, it's not likely that I'd just come home and tell her I've found someone else and want 2 start over with them just like that - even if she's a cute blonde with a Himalayan lung capacity and a PhD in geology - we've just got 2long of a history 2gether, and family 2gether, for that 2 be bloody likely 2 happen. Now, I MIGHT gradually find someone interesting enough 2 do that with, but if I do, I'll be sure and let her know while it's developing, so that we can amicably split up... ...said in a way that she has 2 know I'm kidding.
There's still fog there, Still. But we've made some huge strides...

I discovered something else about communication this weekend. Sometimes it is hard because *I* have anger, not becaue she does.
I continue to learn.
So do you, cause I haven't read your obituary yet. Course, I believe your learning will accelarate after I read your Obit. You'll have access to much higher cailber teachers then.
Ihope your weekend went well. You having more hope - in and of itself will translate into happier times for you.
Smile, people like you. (i'm one of em.)

Thanks. The weekend was good. We worked on the house 2gether. Talked about us: the past, present, and fu2re. Discussed long-term plans. Bought a couple of antiques at the swap meet yes2rday (after we swore we shouldn't, because we have no place 2 put them! ). Composed emails 2 our lawyer, architect, and contractor, essentially telling them what WE are going 2 do and WHEN, 2 see if they get their acts 2gether or if we have 2 jettison them.
I think it's definitely time 2 move my @$$ over 2 "In Recovery" because I think it's clear 2 my often 2-cautious pee-brain that that's where we're at.
