JR,
Why don't you set the time and place to meet ? Also alternate place in case it rains.

All,
Send Orchid your cell# to RSVP unless of course if she already have your cell#. This is to prevent confusion, we lost poeple a few times ...

Same place? Well the link had no pictures so I wasn't sure. Ok, so you all now know my geography ain't all that great. LOL!!!

E-mail me at: mborchid2@yahoo.com

My cell just changed so only a few of you have the new #. Here's a lesson I learned about these great phone companies: When you get a new cell #, make sure the prefix # of your new # will not create TOLL charges from your landline (home phone). Arrrgh.....this area has tons of toll areas (depending on where you live) and that could mean extra charges on your land line. This happened to us twice. The cell companies say they can't determine which is a toll. Baloney.....they can.

Time for another bump!

I'll suggest a meeting time of 11:00 am at the trailhead described in the links provided previously.

That should give enough time to complete it by noon or shortly after - and then we can decide if we're up for some food. The closest spots will probably be in Walnut Creek.

In the event of rain... shall we go with the standard "Metreon" thing? (same time)

Weather conditions can be found at: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/94553?lswe=94553&lwsa=WeatherLocalUndeclared

Lets hope for nice weather, we deserve it!!

(Orchid, you've got mail!)

DANG!!!! You guys are so lucky to all live on the same coast way.

There's not very many MB'ers here on the PAC NW coast, at least not hiker types that I'm aware of. Ughhhh ... I'm JELLY dammit!

This looks like a super easy stroll - its mostly flat. I think T1 and I are going to jog it a couple of times - waving hi to all you while running past.

I hope the weather is good - I just got over a nasty little cold, and I don't feel like getting pneumonia.

Yo redhat!

Is the Govinator gonna join you guys? Get one for the Groper! At least Bill C. won't show if Ahhnold does. His Willieness would be WAY too, er, disposed.

WAT,

Nah ... we might try G.Newsome ... willieness's replacement. I think he has the look of WH ... he gave me creepy feeling of pushing for clean cut. I prefers Mat.G of GreenParty but I don't live in the city and I am along term green card holder which I can't vote.

Probably we round them up ... since we are going to Mount Diablo . Hmmm, a good eternal place for S. Peterson.

*LULU* ... we need your oppinion here, you live in the city.

What opinion is that? Matt Gonzalez is definitely yummier than Mayor Gruesome and his unhappy looking wife. Her mouth is always turned down in this unhappy looking grimace.

I like Matt's politics much better - I think San Francisco would have been much better off with him as mayor. Mmmm. Plus he's single. Where does he lunch?

Anyway...is this hike thing still on? It's been pouring rain here all day!

Nope this little gathering is for those who are not afraid of getting their shoes muddied. Not afraid of work. LOL!!! No groping, fraternizing, patronizing, politicians allowed!

We have a nice group planning to show up. So far I counted about 7 or so. New faces may be among the group. S/b fun.

Howa' U doin'? Read your other thread. Plan to post. Your topics are so fun to reply to.

Hope you are being good.

take care,

JR,
I left U a message tonight. Will try again tomorrow.

T1,
Left U a message also, darlin'. Let me know if we are carpooling up or not. I have to work in the morning so it will be a combined effort for all of us to meet up. Details in your voicemail.

Oaktown and S-Mom,

Got your e-mails. Hope to see U 2 also.

PI,
I replied to your post. Check it out. Lots of people coming. I know you aren't the shy one so come if you can, ok?

RH, Lulu and company,
Look forward to seeing you all there. U are usually earlier than me so please make sure you look out for the others, ok? Don't want to lose Mr. JR and the rest of the gang. I don't know what they all look like.

See ya,
L.

Love the idea of a walk -- but I can't make the 3 hr. trip this time. It's 6-hour round trip...I'll update you all later.

Last Bump ^^^^^

We are on ... cloudy but not raining.

If there is a signal of T-Mobile, I will check back from the top of mount Diablo.

Yup, only cloudy, cross your fingers. Worst case scenario - it's some exercise and good company. Best case - great views too.

I'll be wearing a grey and red Northface jacket FYI.
