Okay, so the weekend that JL is in town is almost upon us! Let's have a quick round of votes. Since it's a 3-day weekend for many people, who's available on which nights? And what shall we do?
- Friday night 7pm dinner at Tara Thai (Thai food, obviously) in Falls Church (on Route 7 across from the Trader Joe's)
- Saturday night 7pm dinner at Fasika's (Ethiopian food) in Adams Morgan in DC
- Sunday night 7pm dinner at Haandi (Indian food) in Bethesda
Any takers? Hope y'all like ethnic, 'cause I didn't manage to pick a single 'Mrrrrrkin restaurant in all those.

I will be arriving in DC area on the 19th late. I will be tied up 20th, 22, and 24 for sure. The other evenings it is open but subject to emergencies with my project. I would love to meet with who ever, if it can be worked out. I will actually be in MD but can make it down there.

Please actually say something about coming if you're going to, too.
Oh, and out-of-towners, y'all are welcome, of course! The restaurant is all of a mile from my house; you can crash with me if you like.

I can do that barring any emergencies with my project. But, I would need some directions. I haven't been in that part of town for a long time.
I will be on the net next week. So I should be able to get info then if not before I get on the plane.

Moral support from the sunny NorCal ... it seems that it is happening !. The first one is the hardest and don't try to expect everyone to be able to make it ... there are always next time. Majority rule ... lol!.

Heya, AM! Got your message just now. Sorry about that. I'm fixing the problem and paying the money to get the e-mail from that account downloaded to my e-mail program at home, so I don't keep forgetting to check it.
GSN, I'm sorry you won't be able to make it. Hopefully we'll have another of these gatherings soon, and one closer to your neck of the woods, too.
