Hmm, it sounds like my STBXW is a Serial Cheater also.

2 PA's during her first marriage, and so far, 2 PA's plus 1 EA that I know of during our marriage.

That makes a total of 5 affairs in the past 8 years that I know of.

Hardly enough to make a conclusion on but the predator involved with my wife pursued a women with particular characteristics. I understand they were similar to what his mother would have looked like as a young woman.

His dad was abusive of his mother so I suspect he was re-enacting learned behavior is a twisted way.

It is hard to come to a conclusion, but interesting nonetheless.

I wanted to add that H's XW probably looked the most like H remembers his mother in her early 30's, which is when she left her family. I guess the common trait between them all is they have short dark hair, dark eyes, darker complexion, rather plain and mousy looking...no real distinct or attractive features that make them stand out from anybody else. From what I understand, none of them dated much or had much attention from other men.

Another thing I find interesting is that H keeps going younger and younger, with the exception of XW. His XW is five or six years OLDER than he is...she would have been about 26 when they got married. All A partner's kept getting younger and younger. Kinda like, I don't know...H still felt like a pre-teen or teenage boy...trying to connect with that *stuck in time* image of his mother. I mean, my gosh, I'm already 18 years younger than H. Last OW was 38. How low can you go?

I wonder if Toofargone's H had childhood or mother-son relationship problems? Maybe she'll post again.
