It's only 3.45. I don't think she'll call me. I'm more worried OM will but I don't think he will either.
One of the last things OM said to me was "I'm sorry I ruined your life." and he said it so casually with a smirk on his face.
The thought of what is happening at their place today makes me feel sick (for her, not him), but part of me thinks "you slimy bast***d I bet you're slipping your way out of this one as well."

I guess if he rings you will refuse the call, but it would be nice to just be able to chuckle and then say "I'm sorry I ruined your life"!
He sounds like a real pratt to me, and I have no doubt he will be trying his hardest to slime his way out of it, his wife might even contact your hubby for some proof, has he got any if she does?
Hang in there, will be thinking of you.

Wouldn't that be great! I can see it now. But I wouldn't take his call.
As for proof - no e-mails or anything. My phone records, the fact I know she rang OM the night before their son's 21st when I was in his office.
I've just rung H again to see how his day's been going. He told me he spoke to her this morning for 20 minutes and is going to tell me all they said over a bottle of wine tonight.

Everything went really well with H and I last night. He said she was very cool and calm on the phone, he thought she might have been writing things down.
Daughter rang last night to have a chat and H told her what he'd done. She said "Wow, Dad, you've got b**ls!" I couldn't have said it better myself but I must have a word to her about her language LOL
D and I talked as well and it was all good and all positive.
H and I couldn't stop smiling. We can really move on now. I'm so proud of him.
It's 8.00am here so we'll see what today brings.

Jenny,
I think you D's comment to your H probably made him smile abit. Probably made him feel good. He took action and it was the right kind of action as well.
I cannot believe you don't have any "smart**s" remarks about the Aussies. I will tell you one that a fellow in Hobart said about NZ.
My family and I had flown from Christchurch to Hobart Tasmania and I was getting the rental car. The fellow asked me "Where are you coming from Mate?" I told him Christchurch, and he stopped and said. "Ah! New Zealand, the only third world country where you can drink the water." And then laughed. I knew then that you guys and the Aussies had a lot of fun with one another. And a lot of respect as well.
I am glad things are going better. I do think a big hurdle has been jumped by you and H. You two keep up the good work.
God Bless,
JL

Thanks JL - hmmf that remark about the water is great coming from a guy in a country where they were all shipped out on convict ships LOL
Sometimes, especially in sport, the rivalry gets a bit heated but we are very close to our Aussie cousins.
H did smile about D's remark - and he did feel VERY good about himself all day yesterday. I said to him in bed "Well, the L*** Team is up and running again."
It just feels so good to get that hurdle out of the way. I haven't thought about OM all day - only thoughts of "you poor spineless sucker." It's great.

Hey Jenny,
That is great news. I think your D summed it up well.
I also think that your H really needed to get it off his chest so that the two of you can move on. Great stuff.
Keep us posted. cheers (The convict)

Thanks Chris, it's been a hell of a ride on the old A rollercoaster for the last couple of days.
We went out for a "celebratory" dinner tonight which didn't go quite as well as I hoped. H really wants to me to see I've been completely taken in by "charming" OM and I'm finding that a bit hard to do. Who wants to be a total fool.
I aslo rang my mother today and told her what H had done. When I said OM's W had been very calm and cold, my mother said "maybe it wasn't the first phone call she's had from BS's".
Gee, even my mother can see things better than I can.
Anyway, went to bed and was absolutely, totally with H tonight. This SF is going to kill us both LOL
