Another good book is "Five Love Languages" - by Chapman.

You can read it, and figure out what his top EN's are........or anyway HIS "love language" - which I think is similar to EN's. DO THEM.

DO THEM like your M depends on it, cause it DOES!!! Then, after a pre-determined amount of time, I agree with others, it's time for a separation.......

SOMETHING to "shake his world" a little, and make him stop and think that if he doesn't start giving YOUR EN's attention, he just might be losing you.

Please keep posting, and keep yourself busy, doing whatever you have to do to make yourself feel better........get a new outfit.....get your nails done........go have a massage.

Just DON"T succumb to an A!

God Bless,

FC, that is not what you said earlier, you said you hated his dog, hate the TV and hate to see him into things besides "working on your marriage." You hate what he likes, but we are supposed to believe he is the [censored] because he doesn't like your things. [its ok, though, that you don't like his things] Is he supposed to leap with glee at all your activities? I just don't see why he would WANT TO and suspect he just feels nagged.

You are not wrong to want him to do things for you, but you have to give him a reason to WANT TO. Do things for him that HE WANTS. The things you are doing might be things that you THINK he wants but they are not. Thats why you have to find out what his needs are.

I am also concerned that you have been trying to educate him with religious books and making DEMANDS that he work on your marriage. That is a huge lovebuster that will push him away and erode the love in your marriage. You say that you want him to be a godly man. Well, preaching to him will not acheive that - it will only achieve a resentful man who isn't interested in your marriage. It will push him away and make him less likely to feel affectionate. However, if you attract him by avoiding lovebusters and treating him with respect he will be more cooperative.

Please read this article about lovebusters:
