I did it.

Here's a funny - quickly tried to go back and edit it to say "better looking than" and I got a screen that said "the time has elapsed for you to edit your post."

Never saw THAT before!!

OK, ark^^ - to smooth you over I'll have the cookout for you anchored in the Ches. Bay cove of your choosing - as soon as I get my boat that I need to make it to Jenny's in time. Er, don't change any current dinner plans. Just bring the salt.

Sure. I can think of better places, but if you insist.

We just gave opposite advice to Titleist.

you say black I say white... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

wat my summers on the bay were spent right off the inlets from whitestone VA...and Kilmarnick...

the resort TIDES INN gulf yacht/golfclub...(probably the biggest attraction..

near the Rappahanock river side...

any islands we went on were small just to dig around...spent most time on the boat fishing...
went out to tangier once or twice...(the only island I "know"...when we were young..or old...

you can certainly choose any island...

Seriously, all, and I mean seriously, I come on the board now more to have fun on posts like this than anything else.

I think I can almost safely say that H and I are recovered. Not "in recovery" or "nearly there". Do you know how wonderful that is and what a wonderful man I'm married to.

I couldn't have done it without the warmth, advice, humour and intelligence of the people here. I often say I'm going to go but I'd miss it too much and I'm sure we're going to have bumps in the road in the future. Who knows, even tonight he may come home saying he's had flashbacks all day - that's happened before. Surely recovery can't happen this quickly. Maybe it can if you married the right man in the first place.

I'm still too nervous to change my sig line to say "recovered" - that might be tempting fate a bit too much.

Good for you, Jenny. I have no experience here, but be cautious and think long term. Others typically report setbacks. Keep reading and learning - the VALUABLE stuff!

ark - Tangier and those places are on the lower Bay, which is quite a bit different than the upper Bay. Guess we'll need a tour. The east side on the lower bay has a lot of marshy nooks and crannies - if you really want to get away from it all, this is the place. The west side - Kilmarnock, etc. - is much closer to civilization. Tough to get away from everybody. As you get further north than the Choptank River on the east side, the east and west sides get more and more the same, but the Bay is a lot narrower and on nice weekends, it can be crowded all over. We may have to do it multiple times, huh?

Not having a sister, I wasn't exposed to penis envy. But when I finally got to gym class, it was more like penis shame......

Oh!!! VENUS !!

Nevermind.
