Sorry NY, just a quick highjack here!

SS, OMG, I've missed you! You had me laughing out loud. I'm still laughing. If your H read what you wrote on this forum, let's see how many thousands of members are here, I think he'd be Plan Bing YOU!. I swear, besides this site with all of you and God, laughing at H and OW has gotten me through this. I'm trying to think if H has done anything funny lately. Well, this is kind of funny, although personal. I have been holding off on actually "doing it", not as punishment, just because I wasn't ready for that because of him doing it with OW. Well, we finally added that to our repertoire and he did some weird thing to his back, and now the boy possibly needs traction. Is he getting punished for his naughty behavior? Not as funny as your H's toenails, but somewhat gratifying just the same.

Retrouvaille was very good. I think H's fog is lifting, and the withdrawal lessening. Although he told me that Saturday he had the urge to call OW but called his sister instead. The last 2 weeks we haven't done any concrete recovery work and I realize I need it. That is another story.

I think we're going to make it. However, with all the sh** that I've witnessed on this site I try to keep an open mind.

Hope we talk again soon. I love a good laugh in this chaos. CV

Now THAT, ladies, is CHARMA!!!!

Dang, God handles all this stuff way better than we ever could, and he has a sense of humor, too.

Yes ladies you also had me rolling on the floor. I know all about the flying missiles, and the nail mines on the floor also. The pimple popping explosions were always fun too, but as you say those are just the things we put up with for love. When my WH used the bathroom the whole entire house cleared out literally, everyone would leave. We would spray close the bathroom door, then spray the den and close that door and it would still creep about the house. That is one thing I don't miss, I wonder how OW likes that she has a little tiny apt. the fire alarms must go off and everyone runs outside over it. Thanks spidey and CV I needed a good laugh. I know no matter which way god takes me I will be fine, I am strong like steel now. I used to be a waded up piece of aluminum foil. Glad to see some humor again here.

Thanks for the laugh ladies. This thread is getting too funny. My WH took me out to lunch on my birthday. We had a pleasant time, but all I could think of is how much this boy eats. He gobbled up everything on his plate, and then started eating off mine. It would be cheaper to get a pet elephant.

Believer you would probably make out better with an elephant, they can't talk either. I know what you mean about eating, when WH comes he eats like crazy. I am thinking OW never cooked for him.

I'm posting in the "just found out" category, but I'm lurking today, and found your thread. I'm so sorry for HopefulinNY (I have a 3.5 yr old daughter and a 10 month old son, and I just found out about OW, so I'm new to the pain). Having said that, I must admit that I ad to laugh at the recent threads...the first time in one week! Pet elephant....still smiling at that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

cc,

I hear you on the pain thing. It is terrible, the whole mess is. You will learn that humor does help and these ladies keep you laughing.
