Hi cellophane,

I think it was probably Binder telling me that on MikeB's thread.

Divorce is forever in the sense that you will be D'd from your S,not that you couldn't remarry though but that is rather rare.

If you mean the general term forever, that has many connotations.I too made a vow to love, honor and cherish my WH till death do us part, etc and much more.I remember my WH talking on our Wedding video and saying that he would like to be asked how wonderful marriage is in the next 60 years.

Well,we didn't even make it that far.I heard all the "forevers" too from my WH.I have so many love letters promising me forever, together forever, you're the only one I love,I am so in love with you,etc etc etc.All that seems to be forgotten now.Thrown away for a jealous homewrecker who wants what I have.

Forever may be just one of those words that some people will lose sight of the actual meaning or change for their own selfish, misguided, hurtful reasons. Also like:

love
committment
care
honesty
dignity
integrity
reponsibility
marriage
vows
trust
friendship
values
morals

You get the idea.

O

Yeah forever until the puppy love stage is over with. Too immature to go the the next level of comittment. Hey who wants to wake up to the same old face and have sex with the same person week after week if we're lucky! After a while the compliments just rolls of the backs as if it were their mothers saying it to them. That of course is coming from a WS point of view.
Very bad mood this morning! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="images/icons/mad.gif" />
