That's ok then. Cool. I didn't think you were going to talk me again.
It's Sunday morning here - first day at new job tomorrow so lots to do today (sort out work clothes - I've been wearing track pants and jeans for the last 5 weeks). Also, H and I are going to visit our local museum today as we haven't been for ages and thought it would be a nice thing to do on a freezing, wet day.
Have a good 4 July tomorrow. I'll maybe check in later.

Jen, </font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial"> I didn't think you were going to talk me again. </font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Why did you think that? I just made a foghorn sound. If I was mad believe me you'd know it. Remember the "conversation" with Anyname?
How was the first day of work? How was the museum? You full of more fascinating Kiwi facts now?

Changing the subject, as all conflict avoiders do when they may have to confront their lack of self esteem.....
And that's a joke, but a pretty lame one.
First day was um, interesting. Turns out the woman reporting to me went for this job and didn't get it, so today I wasn't set up for e-mail, security passes, you name it. I think the word "obstructive" came to mind.
Anyway, I also found out I'm there to "troubleshoot" some of the problems (ie woman reporting to me) in the department.
EEEK. Can I do this? Sure I can, with my sublime conflict avoiding skills, lack of self esteem....
Actually, it's a challenge and I'm really looking forward to it. Once I have e-mail etc, etc.
The museum was cool. I liked the interactive children's stuff best.
