"I am sure that the vast majority of BS's get the same responses from their WS's families. "

My WH's parents were soooo supportive of me after D-day. I can't say enough about how much they helped our marriage recover! MIL was approached by OW via phone postD-day ... she called to tell MIL "I still want to be a part of your life" .... MIL told her "You hurt my son, you hurt his family and you hurt me. We are not friends. Don't ever call again."

And I was amazed at MIL's resolve to boycot helping her son do anything but get back into God's pocket.

Perhaps having a family of faith makes a difference for the WS?

What do you think?

Pepper,

I know envy is a no-no on these forums but after reading your post I am green. I thought when all this started that it would be turned around quickly especially because of the relationship I assumed that I had with the in-laws. Perhaps in retrospection their abdication of their role in their daughter's M maybe a blessing in disguise.
