I can relate...can't stop thinking about my cheating H despite his hurtful actions toward me. I just found out he is actively dating another woman and she is already spending the night with him...picturing them being intimate has made me nauseous to the point I lose my appetite and desire to eat. I am lonely and cannot imagine my life without him, my first true love.
While I don't think I'll ever completely stop wondering what he is up to, I have decided to let him be for awhile and really focus on POSITIVE in my life. Try to focus only on things that make YOU happy rather than ways to bring your significant other back. I know this is hard...it is a constant challenge for me to hold back tears at night (this is when I am most lonely). At the same time, my wonderful friends keep reiterating how much I have to offer to the world and that letting myself be brought down by someone who is on a self destructive path is just plain crazy.
So it is back to being the independent, self-sufficient woman that I once was prior to falling in love with and marrying my husband 3 years ago. I have not lost my drive to succeed and I have a very nourishing environment to thrive in as an individual. If my H wants to continue to spiral down a cheating, lying, heartless path, I refuse to follow him. He knows how I feel and how to contact me if he chooses to cross the bridge back onto the path we once walked together.
Just realize you have so much to offer...don't let yourself get down on yourself. It is not worth it. You have done NO WRONG! Focus on the good in your life and I am sure that you will relive that wonderful feeling of having someone to share love and passion with soon! I am hoping that my unfaithful H will come out of his "fog", realize that life without the love and support of his family and myself sucks. In the meantime, I will go out with friends and focus on positive energies in my life.
Hopeful in San Diego!
Me: 28 yo faithful wife Him: 30 yo unfaithful husband; separated since May '04; he is actively dating other woman and just signed a year-long lease in another apt ) :

I know how you feel. My H filed divorce papers on Thursday, and I received them Friday. I could not function, and had to have somebody come and take care of my kids because I could not summon the strength to feed them or even to care about them.
H had them yesterday and I cried the ENTIRE day. I've lost 6 pounds so far because when I try to eat I throw up.
Today is a little better, and even though people tell us things will get better, and the logical part of our brains knows that, our hearts are breaking so much we think we will feel this pain forever. I, too, deserve a man who will put me first (my H's affair is with work) but I can't stop feeling that I want my old H back, and it hurts to think of some other man beside me someday, I can't even imagine.

Hi tree & country mama.....We all need some heavy duty praying right now. I pray every morning and nite.
I am 3 weeks into WH leaving, trust me it does get easier, but its a slow process. I still think this is all a bad dream and i am gonna to wake up.
You both sound like beautiful ladies, and you will walk tall with your head held high, cause you know you did not do the wrongdoings.
