Gosh, sorry, I am not a man that has been celibate for 2 years. However I am a wife that has done that. Well, to be honest, it has only been about 22 months, but close.
So I am living proof that it can be done. Now, I will put a disclaimer here while hoping this is not against MB rules. I have not been with anyone but myself. That being said, the sex is good.

FM "I made so many mistakes when I was younger I thought I owed it to her to cut her some slack, and I guess she felt she owed it to me to cut me in the back, but I was only what early 20's? She was my first girlfriend, we had our daughter when I was what 21? I'm 35 NOW! Can a guy cut a break here? For the last 4 years I've been atoning for my sins as a kid and an idiot." Were these mistakes ever corrected, addressed and for you and WW? Is this something that has been building up and never addressed? I wondered about this all day. I am so afraid for my marriage, if I sweep this under the carpet as H would love to do, continue as usual will I wind up in your wifes shoes? Tomorrow I go to my first IC. H will not go..says he went he wants to forget the whole darn thing!

We were very young when we got together and she was very dependent on me. It was too much pressure, and I'm not talking 21 I'm talking 17, 18, 19, 20...and there isn't a huge age differnce she was only a year and a half younger..So we were both babies and that pressure continued for a long time after that.
Your H should not sweep anything under the rug if it concerns you. If he doesn't want to go to counseling you should go alone. There is never a reason to have an A. There are reasons to get divorced, there are reasons to get counseling, heck there are reason to defend your self and pack up everything you own and RUN...but there are no reasons to CHEAT. I hope that you are not involved with anyone whether physically or emotionally, *Notice Huge Red Flag Waving <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Like I said earlier, go to counseling even if he wont accompany you right now. Take care of you, which is what I should have done so many moons ago and maybe I wouldn't be a BS right now.

FM, I have only ever been involved with my H. We also met when we were quite young. I will go to IC today for the first time. I love my H very much, I love the life we built and they way things were. However, I keep having outburst about his ONS. I think going to the Counselor will help me...just to have another person listen and validate my feelings will do me good.
When I told H about my IC that deals with marital problems he looked at me like I had two heads. I hope this helps me heal and move on.
I am so sorry for your pain and what you and your family are going through. Your children are very lucky to have you. R
