TR,

Had to laugh at your comment,

quote:
being divorced and having to date it scared me half to death. I don't even remember how to do that!

I know what you mean. But don't fool yourself. Your self-esteem is taking a beating now. But you are much more valuable than your WH is treating you. You KNOW that and so does your son. If you WH doesn't come to his senses I don't have any doubt you will be OK. Just be careful on the rebound, take time to heal.

I hope you saw that attny, because WH needs to support his family, regardless of his A.

Yes, WH is taking care of all of the bills....minus my cell bill. I have to pay that. He says he wants to give me the house and everything.....why would he do that??? Guilt? Maybe because he wants to hurry and get rid of me? I have no idea! He says he's protecting me and will always love me and that just because we're divorced doesn't mean we can't spend time together. Is he crazy????? Why would I want to spend time and be "friends" with someone who has hurt me so bad? I will never want to talk to him again. Only for my son's sake! FOG!!!!!! Boy, when he comes to his senses he will be blown away at his actions. Of course it may be too late by then. The way things are going now...it's pretty hard to see myself with this man again.

Wow, Tree. You're still on the divorce diet, but you already feel like calling it quits.

Maybe I'd feel the same if I ever saw my WW.

I'm real sorry your boy is having trouble. Have you done any reading about how to minimize the damage to him from this upheaval? If you're interested I could ask car4love for some recommendations. I think she's done lots of reading on the subject.

GC, yeah that divorce diet is a bender. I've leveled off but it is hell puttin the weight back on. Suprisingly, my WW has lost alot of weight too. She doesn't look to healthy. Looks very hollow.

TR,

How long ago was D-day? I see you joined MB in 2000.

Tree -

Your marriage is far from over. Your WH is still deeply in the fog. But since he wants to give you the house, get it in writing.

Sweetie - You are quite beautiful, and if it comes to divorce, you will do just fine finding someone else. Hopefully it will not come to that. But if it does, you will find someone who will treat you like you deserve to be treated.

Thanks believer!

I'm trying!!!!!! I just wish my H could see and realize what he is doing. Our son is having a hard time and my H keeps saying he will "be fine." That just makes me so angry!!!!!

I have to be strong for my son and right now that is my main concern!!

Yes, My WW says the same things.

Says the kids will be better off, says they'll get over it, says they'll be fine.
