DD LOVES Finding Nemo and I love the water. Nemo is lost and that's how I felt when I found this place. Now that I've been here a short while, I realize that I should have taken the tag "Marlen", because I'm the one fighting the entire ocean to get to my WW.

Nemo was taken and 16 was always my number in sports, I always throw it on the end when I need to for an internet name.

My mom used to call me graycloud. When I got here I was remembering the safety and comfort my parents gave me.

Funny, once I asked her why she called me that, and she said because I never slept and always had gray circles under my eyes. But I think she said it on a night when she was having trouble getting me to go to bed.

At that moment I felt so - belonging to nowhere... lost.. where to go what to do... not belonging to our home any more and not belonging out of our home either...

That moment is more and more fading, I feel much better, almos healed... and very often I think of changing it to the one I will always cherish and insist on it:
Belonging to Myself

Mine seems self-explanatory also. Been in the Navy over 20yrs and until I found MB, I was certainly LOST! Although I've headed off course a few times, there's always someone here to help me stay the course..........LS

Mine is my maiden name - pretty plain and pretty lame. What can I say I was the BS and pretty stressed - I couldn't think of anything better at the time.

I used to have a really flat tummy and after my twins it was stretched and flabby. On DDay I told myself "I'm going to get a tummytuck and start anew". Still haven't - can't afford one and am a real coward. Maybe one day ....

I'm a choral director and a singer. 58 is my birth year, I should get rid of that, I'm not really that old! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

Tummytuck, how old are your twins? I have a set also, they are 21. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

As a keen teen, I used to try out for local bands as a guitarist and singer. At one trial the band's manager said I was " pure Bob Mould" ( a unique player and hero of mine, used to play with Husker Du, and Sugar for those of you that care !).

When anyone wanted that sound, they'd call 'pureb0b'. My nickname ever since. Bob Pure just seemed more grown up when I signed up here !

Bob: I *hate* Bob Mould! Think he's a genious, however, bad memory: My first love in HS/college--her next BF's band was produced by Bob Mould in NYC. (Went to TISCH.)

Hey Ladysing58, they are girls who will be 9 next week. Very different - bit like a Laurel and Hardy outfit! They are great girls but they played havoc with my figure!!

I know mine sounds kind of stupid. But that is how I sign any business letters. Like a farwell. I felt I was saying goodbye to a part of me. So lost and confused at that time.
I'm in a much better place now. Nothing that isn't good for me or respectful of me is allowed in me! Best REGARDS

I would like to say it was when my shrink suggested I get a book called "Stop Walking On Eggshells", but I had the name a good year before that.

There is an old KMFDM song called jukejoint jezebel (I think that's how u spell it?) so that's where I get juke and 1225 because it's easy to remember. Random stuff really.

Bob - Bob Mould is one of my favorites.

I've been listening to "Zen Arcade" almost daily, and Sugar's F.U.E.L. has been in my car's CD changer for weeks. Husker Du was a little bit before my time, but I like it. That and Minutemen. Got a copy of "Double Nickels on the Dime" on vinyl a few weeks ago. Coooool. By the way, for those who know Minutemen, Watt has a new CD out, or about to come out.

I used denial#1 because denial was my #1 priority for the past several years. I can see that now. At the time, however, because of my DENIAL, I didn't see it!

By the way, I wish my OW had died! I keep looking in the obituaries. Not a very nice thing I know.

I guess I chose my name because like Roger Waters said, I have become . . . comfortably numb.
