I'm a bug fan. Love to get down close and watch them ("Hey Ethel, what's that big round thing, that looks like an eye?"). Used to play with pill bugs and worms that got flooded from their homes and carpeted the sidewalk when I was young. Love the flying ones too, but get annoyed when they fly in my face ("Hey Ethel, it's that big round thing again, but there's two of them...")

But I HATE cockroaches. Even the thought of the little germ carrying, thieving little sons of mothers that aren't married crawling across my floor gives me the willies something terrible. I have the same reaction as if I ate lemonade before the sugar was added to wash down the sourest candy ever.

I really can't think of anything "illogical"--Bees--OMG--deathly (literally) afraid of them.

I guess, it's not a thing, but a noise: cracking knuckles. EEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!
