YL-Two years ago I was pulling the fifth wheel through Mississippi - H was asleep - and two dorkhead motorcycle riders pulled in front of me and going very slowly. Had to slam on brakes to avoid them. Couldn't stop fast enough- couldn't move over - car behind me - Car behind me had a blowout and came close to hitting the divider wall. Finally one of the riders looked back and saw what was happening and just barely pulled over in time to avoid being hit. Other cyclist never even looked around. Had nightmares for months. Haven't driven the truck and fifth wheeler since. Another thing to make H unhappy and think I am useless. Oh, well, what's one more thing?

Funny, (not haha) how my last accident "involved" a motorcycle: "driving" on the world's largest parking lot (the L.I.E.) and boob in front of me slammed on her brakes (55 to 0 in 10 is commonplace on the LIE.) Me being the ever-observant driver I am, had noticed for awhile a "dorkhead motorcyclist" (And NOT a HOG--they generally know how to ride) tailgating me. So, in a split second had visions of him flying over my car onto my hood so decided to not slam, but "apply" the brakes and tap the car in front. Well, it wasn't a tap. But I guess it was better than the possibility of someone flying over my car.
OK idiots...gotta do some stuff before work. I'll check in after work. Have a great day/weekend everyone.
"Day two is underway!"

Five years ago at this very minute, I was receiving an epidural so I could endure the pain of pushing a very large-headed, 8.14 lb baby boy, who has the most gorgeous shade of chocolate brown eyes out into the world.
Above mentioned child crawled into my bed while his daddy got ready for work today and hugged me and told me he loved me even tho I had dragon breath (he's gonna be SUCH a ladies man.....oy!). I told him that it was because I ate pickles and popcorn last night while watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit with him. He told me no, it's because I was sleeping, duh....then he said he loves me anyway.
I sent him to school with Spiderman cupcakes and Spiderman Noisemakers (Jel - I saw you cringe - I asked the daycare ladies' permission first). His papa told him we could go ANYWHERE he wanted to eat tonight (thinking, I'm certain like I was, we can choke down Mickey Ds a couple of times per year). Then darling son's sister reminded him of the Rat's Place (aka Chuck E. Cheeses)....remind ME to string her up and beat her like a pinata....so the Rat's place it is! Heck, the boy is more than worth the petit mal seizure I might have brought on by the lights and pinging noises.......................(not really...but I might WISH for a petit mal by the end of the night).

He's got a pint sized skateboard, but prefers his Radio Flyer tricycle right now (tho a young 'un sized bike might be in order). And scissors??? No, he wouldn't cut his brother's hair - probably his sister's...or we'd end up with very butch Barbies and very sad/pissed off little girls....or he'd run through the house with them and poke his eye out!
Wanna know what he asked for this morning? SpiderMan Web Blasters. They are Spiderman gloves that have these niches in them for cans of Silly String. I told I didn't think so because I didn't want Silly String mess all over the house....."But MOM! It's not Silly String....it's WEB!" Hey guys, Kati is calling us all out, She started a thread about us, or she wants us to join her, wouldn't have just been easier for her to come here. Some people love to play hard to get, anyways, I'll see you all there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" /> Oh the thread, intellectual stimulation

This didn't happen on the Jelly thread.
(Or was NO one watching <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> then??)
Well, Big Brother sure is NOW!
And what happened to all the "Licks" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> ?? I used to like that.

Kimmy,
I'm making your famous enchiladas this weekend!
Now quit going on and on about the little kiddies would you? Mom's, I tell ya...sheesh.
KY,
You said the C word! What's the matter with you?????
Now I must get back to work before my boss gets the idea she needs to come up and replace me! She hates coming up to the UP, so I only see her once a year or so (and never, ever, ever in the winter, lest they close the big mack and she get stranded here) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
Tah Tah girls and boys!

Weaver - want one? A kid, I mean. I've got them in spades, I tell ya!
What time is dinner. Sure is nice when SOMEONE else makes the enchiladas.
TR - I think "Jelly" got so big, and the pages took so long to load, the mods didn't bother. I also conjecture that we have entirely too much fun now for them to stay away.
BTW: ***edit****
Licks for TR AND the mods. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> <small>[ November 12, 2004, 01:42 PM: Message edited by: Justuss ]</small>
