I am trying to wean off of Lexapro, very complicated where I have to keep cutting the pills smaller and smaller. Of course if I start getting panic attacks, will have to go back on. I am trying to stay off of the computer today, and actually be productive but wanted to say hey, and welcome LIT.

It's good your BIL is still your "friend". You can always use alittle support.
Baby Mayor got shots URGH. One of the hardest things about being a parent. My boys hardly cried - maybe they said "ouch" real loud and maybe even a "what was that for?". But the girls - tehy cry - oh it breaks my heart. LINY has to take our 3YO for shots and check up in about a week.

Weaver aren't the Lexapro tabs very small to begin with. (I took 10mg to help with aniexety (sp?). Watch those Aniexety Attacks. Does your Dr have any Xanax for ya? - that you can take "on demand" and it will chil you out in the middle of an attack. But highly addictive!!!! Be careful!!!!
Hey, mayor if I'm not able to resume my duties as a cheerleading - maybe I'll a drugist????

I just want to say what a great thread this is. I love coming here, I do not get that whole depressed feeling when I am reading here. The support is unbelieveable.
Robby- You seem like such a great guy. I do not know much about your story- was looking for an earlier thread on you, but I am still pretty green when it comes to stuff like that. You do a great job at mayor. Keep up the good work.

Weaver, I am also on Lexapro right now since the pending D......but was on Effexor right after d-day, and you can't cut those pills. I weaned off by taking them every other day, then every two days, then every week, and then not at all. Since antidepressants are cumulative (and missing one day does not have much of an affect), then you can safely wean this way without having the incredible down. (OK, not really a Whine tasting, but I hope this helps!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I just love a big toothy grin!

Yes Brown, they are very small. I have a pill cutter from the pharmacist to cut them. Can't just wean by skipping every other day, my Dr said that really messes up the ole brain chemicals. I'll ask him about Zanax, but if it is addictive then I'll get addicted. I am just that way <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> Looks like Idiotville is about to grow again, so I'm definately out of here or will be here all day for sure. OOOOOOOPS - Sorry Weaver. Don't go against your Dr advise. I'm not really sure why he said that (as I actually did my master's degree with a special study on anti-d's), but I wouldn't trust me before a Dr, for sure! My favorite catch phrase....
