Hi Idiots all
isn't that funny that you are talking about being addicted to MB. I was just thinking that myself a few days ago. I seem to rush home from the shops or work when I was working, to post or lurk just like I used to rush back to watch Home & Away on TV.
But then I think well, I'm not smoking, I'm not drinking, not eating - hang on that IS a problem cancel that one - well not much of anything really, so what the heck. It DOES not rule my life because if the kids are around or want me somewhere I'm with them, no one not even me suffers from it. OK maybe a little compulsive but I seem to be a little that way inclined recently anyway. my IC/MC is not concerned, I get a pretty regular questioning about posting and how long I stay on, she more concerned I don't sleep much.
So that means you're All STUCK with me. lol
So the blood test came back, no doubt at all. Is it a blessing or not?? doesn't matter I suppose its reality now.
I don't think the phone has stopped ringing from Mum to sisters to brother to Aussies brother & sister........ everyone seemed to know but me apparently??? Scratching head???
Perhaps when I am a bit more compos mentis about things someone will let me in on the whole thing - very confusing
hey I had 2 glasses of wine tonight with my kids when I told them I was going to have a baby sister or brother for them to look after..lol .. DD was so excited she actually cooked dinner,
DS looked horrified I think. LMAO. what you mean you & dad still do 'it' at YOUR age??? Little bugger!! But really he was ok.

Believer - Mole? OMG! I LOVE mole (pronounced moh-lay, for you lay people)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mole chicken was our wedding feast dinner. (sigh)
My mil made the best! It was the one thing she didn't get around to teaching me? What's your recipe? Do you grind the peanuts up yourself, or use peanut butter?
Num!

quote:
Cricket, brought by settlers from England to the United States, was one of the most popular games in the United States in the nineteenth century. It is played by two teams on a large field in the center of which are two wickets 66 feet apart. Each wicket consists of three sticks topped by two short bails that fit into grooves on the top of the sticks. The wickets are bases for the opposing team's batsmen. The bowler, similar to the baseball pitcher, bowls a ball overhand towards the opposite wicket. The ball usually takes a bounce or "pitch" at the wicket. If the pitch knocks the bails off the wicket or hits the batsman in front of the wicket the batsman is out. Batsmen can also be declared out by having a hit ball caught in the air by a bowler. The batsman or "striker" at this wicket tries to hit the ball away from the fielders of the opposing team so he can exchange places with his team's batsman at the other wicket thereby scoring a run. Still a popular sport in Great Britain, cricket was overtaken by baseball as a popular sport in the United States.

Not to be corn-fused with:
Krikket - a planet inhabited with peace loving individuals whose sole purpose is the destruction of every living thing in the Universe.
Had to add that for Robby.

I mean I do heaps of Aust fusion cooking with satay based sauces and things or crispy chicken with crunchy satay but moo-lay ???
Like right now I'm eating chicken, oyster sauce, lime and thai basil with steamed rice, because I ate about 3 Teriyaki meat balls - about thumb nail size & a bit of rice for dinner which my DD cooked but felt a bit sick. Mm this is yum needs chilli though.

Mole, one of the best things about Mexican food, which has somehow remained largely undiscovered in the U.S. - except of course guacaMOLE. I suspect the northern version of guac is a little corrupt itself...

Mole - pronounced mo'lay, not moo-lay (that would be for beef, right? LMAO). It's made with chocolate (unsweetened) and peanuts....it's a blackish sauce you cook the chicken in (or top enchiladas with). Super rich, and super good. It's a lot of work, but SO worth it!

I tried...I really did.
I tried to go back and read the 30+ pages that I've missed over the holiday weekend - but I just can't do it!
Anyone want to give me a quick rundown of what I've missed? If not, it's ok - onward and upward!
Good Monday Morning Idiotville!

Dearest Idiotville, I am taking a leave of absence from my residency here. I'm going to try Realityville for a bit.
Don't get your panties in a wad, I'm sure I will still be an idiot, once and idiot, always an idiot, isn't that the saying?
I will miss you, but please still email and keep in contact with me. I just need to step back into my life, I need a break from infidelity.
I will keep you all in my prayers, and I will always be wishing the best for you.
Kimmy, thanks for all your support, you bring a smile to everybody's face. I love you.
YL - you, like Kimmy, have made me realize I am not defined by my choice to have an A, thank you for that. Love to you.
Jen, you have been such a guide to me, I needed a friend during this lousy time, a friend who understood me, and you were it. Thank you Jen, I really appreciate you.
Starz, I love your name, you do shine and sparkle in my eyes. You are going to be fine.
DipiT, I so admire you, your brains, your humor, you have the entire package. You, like starz, will be okay.
Believer, keep these kids in line, K.
Weaver, you give such good advice, I have learned so much from you. You are a very fine "young" lady. I adore you.
Brown, your humor rocks, I'm sorry it is wasted on Liny, he probably never gets it, does he. What a shame. You guys can make it, I'm sure of it.
WantedOut, I sure hope you find your happiness, and I hope it last a life time.
Liny, hey funny man, stay on the right path. You can do this. I'm soooo rooting for you.
RH, you always make me smile, thanks
Bob Pure, I absolutely adore you. I knew, right from the beginning you would make it. You are a perfect example of MB. I'm very proud of you, and extremely happy for you.
Robby, you know the saying, save the best for last, well, that doesn't necessarily apply here, I just wondered if you knew it? Anyways, you always make me laugh, I so appreciate your humor. I applaud you for how well you are doing, and how you are not always in self pity mode. You are a great man, I hope you have a happy ending.
You all have lifted my spirits, put a smile on my face, you have never treated me as a FWW, Idiotville was a place of unconditional love for me, you all knew my history, yet you were still my friends. That is what I needed, and you all so generously gave that to me. I love you all so much, you will never truly understand just how much you mean to me.
I will always save you a seat on the short bus.
Love you bunch of idiots very much, Jelly Bing
