Morning RH - I see you didn't kill the thread this morning
Hey FF - Night shift was here, but it was a little light...
"Never worry about things you can't control"... easy to say... hard to do...

hey FF !!
I agree with you! My story is MIRACULOUS ! We have come SO FAR in a short time - almost from black to white, or darkness to light and I am thankful to Jesus the Wonderful Counsellor each day.
Recovery is a bit scarier than Plan A'ing through stopping the A and withdrawal because the objective is so much more complex, but its all good.
This has been a hurdle in recovery not the end of it.
I thank God daily for his interventions in our lives and exhort him to continue !!
Not sure my story is 'inspiration;' but I guess inspirational is as inspirational does, and if it offers help to anyone, AMEN to that !
Even with the bombs going off in our lives right now apart from teh A, I dropped my baby off at the minibus going to her friends funeral and she said " I love you baby, I'll miss you today" and kissed me.
This is the woman who wished me dead, didn;t love me, wanted to leave if she had any money etc etc only three months ago. Wonderful.
Scary thing is...we're starting to draw closer to each other as we pray together, POJA everything and discuss other events in our lives together.
It will soon be a terrible wrench again if we split up, but its getting hard to maintain an arms length from her. I love her ! she loves me !
There are just some behaviour issues to deal with first I think.
Thanks FF ! That reminder of how good stuff is has really cheered me up !!!!!!

Bob, I understand a lot of what you are talking about. We are in early recovery, but pretty much back to square one due to H's discovery of my long ago betrayal. He is in the anger phase still and I am in the longing for closeness, POJA, let's spend time together phase. We have kept our MC quite busy I can tell you. I can see why recovery is harder for that is where trust and work really begin. From what you describe, I would guess that you and Squid will have a much better R than you ever did before. I hope and pray for the same for me and my H.

Aussieswife--
If you are feeling up to it can you email me? I have a question that I don't want to post on the boards due to potential FWS ugliness.

Move is over, but not OVER.
Still have much to do. More trips to storage, etc.
90% of my life is in storage...
Now just to get that pesky last 10%!!

That UBL is in a cave? I think he's definitely got access to outside, western, media and I think he saw Michael Moore's film Farencrap 911. He actually used some of the movie's lines in his election eve video message.
He'll make a great crispy critter!

Hey Mr. Mayor... I don't have a clue where UBL is.... but I don't think that he's living a life of ease right now...
There's a big "winter campaign" kicking off here soon... so hopefully, they'll killl a bunch more of the terrorist this winter....

Why can't they feature him on "America's Most Wanted" and broadcast it in Afghanistan and Pakistan with the big FAT reward, and wait for the calls to come in?
Sheesh, I've been tempted to go look for him myself. Hey, I might organize an old people's group to go look for him, kinda like the gray panthers. Kinda give you younguns a break, and also save on social security payments.
Where's President Bush when you need him? This could be like the Peace Corps, only we'll call it the War Corps.

Hi Iville,
Thought since I am the 411 lady I would feed you some dumb quotes that nobody asked for and nobody cares about.
"I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it's true lightness." - Alicia Silverstone, Actress
"Politics gives guys so much power that they tend to behave badly around women. And I hope I never get into that." - Bill Clinton, former U.S. president
"Cod are not very good swimmers so they are easily overtaken by trawlers and nets." - British government report on why cod fish are disappearing from the North Sea.
"I get to go to lots of overseas places, like Canada." - Britney Spears, Pop Singer
"Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life." - Brooke Shields, during an interview to become spokesperson for a federal anti-smoking campaign.

Hi RIF- how are you? 7 days and counting eh?
Robby-- the worst move I ever had was moving across the street from my old place. Had the bright idea that I could just carry things across instead of really packing. NOT! Took forever and the final few things were torture.
Believer-maybe if we all chip in a few bucks we can get such a large reward together his own people would turn him in.

There's already a $25 million dollar reward. The problem, IMHO, is that the locals need to believe that the taliban is not coming back.
Every unit over there wants to get him, and get the glory.
*** Now back to your regular Idiotville programming! ***

Hello, idiot friends. Sorry I haven't been around much -- too much work, too many concerts, too many extra rehearsals, and still getting calls every day for more performances. Had to start saying no today -- just can't squeeze any more in. Did say yes to the local tv station, though, but said they would have to come tape the concert - can't come in to the studio to do a live one -- I told them they could use it all during the Christmas season if they wanted to.
I am working way too hard. Bah Humbug.
RH - Our operation (especially on the pigs) is not all that large. We just enjoyed getting together with the neighbors and sharing the workload. It made it fun instead of just work. Cattlewise, we are way down. IB has let the herd dwindle down because he just hasn't cared about them in a couple of years. Wonder Why We do have about 2000 acres, but are not really making good use of it. If the A doesn't end, I guess my son and I will have to try to make a go of whatever is left after the courts get through with me. I stand to lose no matter what. The question now is how much I will lose. And the A shows no sign of ending.
I don't know why Idiotville has been slow lately. Maybe because I haven't been here??
Well, Robby, how's your new digs? Good, bad, ugly?
Hey, night crew - whazzup? RIF - shorttimer - how many hours? (Come on, I know you have counted the hours)
Yeah, where is YL??
Bob, hang in there. At least you are working in the general direction of recovery. I am happy for you. Praying hard that it will happen to me.
I'll try to be a better idiot tomorrow, y'all. Will tell the kids to leave me alone tomorrow - I have an important conference planned on the computer. Idiotville is having a planning session tomorrow that involves the sniper, right?
Anyway, just letting you all know that I am still alive. Will try again tomorrow. Night night.
