WOw what a time....work panic, home redecoration panic and intense relationship talk.

I have decided * drumroll and wait for lifer 2x4's * that I am not going to talk about the fricking A over the holidays unless Squid instigates it. Enough already.
I just want to enjoy loving, and being loved by my Baby for a while.

We're both feeling pretty beat up after a month of hard R talk, particularly Squid who is sad but resigned to quitting almost all involvement in her sport to maintain NC and meet my need for her companionship. Its a lot bigger deal than you might think. Its not just 'fun' for her, its been the way she validated herself for a quarter century.

I want to peel the 'FBS' and 'FWS' stickers off our foreheads for a while and just be Squid and Bob : Kate and Dan's mom and dad.

Time to let the yeast of these discussions work through the dough of us both for a while and have soem FUN together FFS !!! I can barely remember fun !!!!!!!

Ah ! Feel better now I've said that!.

Hey Bob (& Squid) - definitely have some fun. I'm kinda thinking the same way you are. I'm tired of this Infidelity stuff (and I know LINY is that's for sure). I just don't want to do it for the holidays either (or the rest of our life)(URGH!!!)

I feel badly for your dear Squid - it would be the same for LINY if I ever had to ask him to stop refereeing Soccer (Football <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> ). He's been doing it all his life - playing it then refereeing since he was 12 YO. (And so far none of our kids plays - maybe the 3 YO). Is there anything else for her to do that would stimulate her in the same way? (*ahem* doesn't count - hehehehehe). Is there anything the 2 of you could do together? (I said *ahem* doesn't count!!!).

I think getting away for you guys will be a really good thing for the holidays. When do you come over here anyway??

RH - the only kind of Christmas party schoolteachers ever have is a bring a dish lunch. Then the janitors come in and eat all the food before the teachers get a break.

Concert big success. Well received. IB didn't go. (What a surprise!!) I came home, he was out in office. Came in and I asked him about what the doctor said today at his appointment. So he had to talk to me Heeheehee. Got him. Well, must go now. Really tired - long day. Stressful in many ways.

Will have plenty of time to talk tomorrow, I think.

Hey Brown !!!

Yeah, its like "I know why don't we remind each other we're in the poop by changing the subject to the A again?" * sigh *. Had a HUGELY progressive month, and I just want to enjoy loving her and BEING loved by her for a while.

We arrive in Miami on the 16th ( hooray !!!!)

Four nights there then off to Marathon in the keys on 20th. Wonderful.

We have our " Christmas day" with kids opening gifts, the Turkey dinner and friends and relatives coming over this Saturday !

It works wonderfully for us, we've spent Christmas in Fla for some five years now. Then Christmas day in florida is a very relaxed affair with small gifts, maybe a local church and a swim in the sunshine.

Re Squid's sport it really is hard for her but I don't see any other way unfortunately. She has been a karate champion, and wanted to continue contribution to her sport althoug he knees are going by being a senior referee. She is hghly respected in the sport as such too BUT, OM will be at every tournament she could referee and we both know that is not acceptable.

She should have picked someone from another part of her life to have an affair with. Like nobody perhaps.... * sigh *

News too Brown is that I am changing my job. I have a very senior job that requires long long hours and lots of foreign travel to fulfil.

As part of MY recommitment to our R I am changing this. I am moving to a UK-based job, that needs only 40-50 hours per week to properly fulfil without flying every week.

Yes its a demotion and any career progression hopes I had will be put on hold for a while at least but such is unimportant. I will still be fairly well paid in a pretty secure job that gives me more time with Squid and the kids so its gott abe a good thing. recovery isn;t just about FWS giving up stuff.

And we're looking to set up in business together Squid and I, but i need commitment from her regarding Karate first. We want to start a driving school !

So a respite from that work mess will also be nice over Christmas.

Affairs are horrible things, they pollute every part of our lives don't they ? No wonder recovery is so hard and takes so long.

Whats your Christmas plans Brown ?

Thank Goodnes Christmas is on a Saturday this year - we can rest up on Sunday.

Right? You didn't sleep with her, right?" No, I didn't. but any type of a is bad enough. I mean, it's bad enough i've caused her this much pain in the concious world; now i'm invading her subconscious. oy.
