Ah...see...I carefully chose my words...not "better" per se, "harder."

It's evening here in Hong Kong. Went to Ikea (furniture store) today and bumped into Anyname. What a small world! It's my birthday today and it has been a lovely day. Had tea in bed from the girls. My youngest let me have the chocolate from her advent calendar . Went shopping and had a yummy turkey roast at Ikea. Got a new mobile phone from WH. He came over and worked so hard doing odd jobs for me (moved house recently). Our Xmas tree got delivered and we decorated it. It looks fab.
WH left in the pm a bit teary eyed. We are big Xmas fans and this will be a hard time for all of us. He's a nice man my WH but possibly the worst in the world for discussing feelings etc. When we were under one roof, I couldn't get him to shift his [censored] off the settee, now he can't do enough for me. I think reality is setting in. We have a lovely home without him. I didn't feel upset when he left. Just sorry for him. His loss. I will not play at marriage again while he continues contact with OW.
Incidentally idiots, I posted on page 183 only last night and you have galloped ahead. I am seriously concerned about the amount of time you lot are spending at your computers. What about your jobs in Idiotville. I think you might all get fired! TT

Hullo idiots !
A quick note to say that our 'virtual' Christmas day yesterday was absolutely LOVELY but ended up at midnight with a very public row between Squid and I .
Her nephew ducked out of paying the taxi driver that took him home, so the taxi driver came back to my house to ask where he lived etc.Squid dives in, denying, defending the undefendable. Fibbing to the taxi driver that we didn;t know where he lived.
We rowed, she unjustifiably defending a shabby act by a shabby relative. She thinks genes cover up every sin.
We went to bed very unhappy but then...truly a miracle...got up this morning and we discussed how we felt. How we hurt, cried a little and all day we've been recovering from it. As hurt, regretful FRIENDS.
In the past this would have been 2 weeks of dreadful sulking silence to punish me.
Lord, we really are getting the hang of doing conflict lovingly....
KY I am so sad UR sad. I like black hooker hair !

Where are all the idiots? Off sleeping off their hangovers I guess.
Can you help me explain this?
I am stil on an emotional rollercoaster. WH is now EX-WH, and yet, I find myself still on emotional rollercoasters. Feeling numb, then angry, then sad, than indifferent, then angry, then happy, blah blah blah.
not only that, but, I also basically think I am the most selfish person on the planet earth. I want people all over to give to me, and apparently, am only interested in getting, not so much in the giving (this is all being said in the emotional context). Perhaps it was because I gave for so D@MN long without any HINT of reciprocation from WH, but, I want people in my life right now to hop skippy try and meet my emotional needs, despite what I have done or am doing for them.
Certainly not the person I want to be.
So, I wonder, is it the rollercoaster of the A, or, in all reality, am I someone who has accustomed myself to a lot of drama.
Oh...FORGET IT!
Is it too soon for more shots? Anyone? Hello?
Bueller?

DipiT- welcome back!
All the other idiots are watching football, I think.
I think yours would be a natural reaction after following Plan A for a long time, and ending in D. (Is that right?) Your needs haven't been met in a long time, but you spent months giving and giving and giving. I would think it is normal to want someone to give to you for a change.
I feel that way, too. Would make it way too easy to fall for someone new too too fast, wouldn't it?

TT - How did you know it was Anyname? We have IKEA here too. Love that place.
RIF - You here yet?
Upper NY, let's see - I think LINY and Brown are in NY, but don't know if it is upper.
DipiT - I am getting burned out just like you. Getting to look at some of my friends even, and don't contact the ones that always want something.

Don't know if this is a private party - you all seem very "familiar" with each other. I'm a visitor here but do have more idiot moments than I am really comfortable with. Does being a BS burn brain cells? This week, we were late for school. FWH and I had pulled yet another all nighter - talk, talk, SF, talk etc..... so I was fuzzy (6:30n am) So we're late. We are walking out the door - me and 14 yr old D, and she says "Oops - I forgot my biology!" She runs upstairs, I yell "I'll bring the car around. I go get in the freezing car, pull out of the garage and come around front, thinking about all that needs to happen today. I was about a mile away when I realized I was alone in the car. Drove right by the front door and my D and got half way to school. She watched me go, ran upstairs and woke up her F and they called me laughing. I had just turned around and was laughing too by then. Sigh......

Welcome to Idiotville. Robby is the Mayor.
That's a great idiocy moment. Now you need two more NOT related to the A.
We are not a private party. Any idiot can join. However, most of the idiots leave on the weekend and come back on Monday.
After two more idiotic statements, you need to find a job. We just got a new bartender and that's why everyone is gone - hangovers.
You can pretty much pick your own job - nothing pays but the tips are great! I am the town sniper. I singlehandedly aborted a coup attempt last week.
Jelly is the Queen. Just ask her. We have an attorney general who smokes. I don't know - it's all so confusing and I have a headache!

Hi Believer, I knew because when we discovered we both lived in the same town we met up. It was really nice - had a 3 hour Starbucks session! Yesterday was a chance meeting in a very busy place. It was good because it made us decide to meet again. See if we've made any progress! She was with WH yesterday and I felt a bit embarrassed cos he knows that I know what she knows etc etc!
Must get the kids off to school. CU later. TT
