When my H came back from 'Nam many years ago, he had only been home for a few days. He was asleep in a bedroom and a bicycle tire exploded outside the apartment. From a sound sleep he was flat on the floor in a millisecond. It was unbelievable to watch. On another day, I walked in and touched him on the shoulder to wake him up. Before I knew what was happening, he had grabbed me by the arm and thrown me against the wall - upside down.
This is very normal reaction - I can vouch for it. However, within a couple of weeks, my H was pretty normal. It'll be ok. It just takes time.

AW--I second what Liny said. You are doing all you can to make him safe. Keep doing what you are doing and could be he feels very fragile around you because of the pg. Maybe afraid of hurting the baby right now. Loved the story of his reaction. So good you can laugh. Sending big hugs to you both {{AW/A}}

Hi Idiots - Looks like everyone is doing okay today.
YL - I have no idea why son quit. I was so furious, I didn't say a thing. The deal is, this was a start up business, and slowly it is doing better. He worked up to manager. Finally, when the business is starting to make a profit - he quits. When I calm down (3 months from now?), I will talk to him about it.
AW - You are doing just fine. It is not in your power to fix the PTSD. PTSD is a normal reaction to an abnormal situation. My advice is lots of tenderness and SF - you know men - that seems to take care of everything.
