Morning RIF, another sleepless night for me. I'm very tired. Oh, I can't say sleepless, I had at least 4 hours last night. Probably twice what poor Liny gets.
Oh, I'm also hungry. Blueberry bagel anybody, and forget the coffee, I need hot chocolate.
How are you doing RIF??? What is it that you do that you can be on the computer?? Short, small words, and pictures would be nice, remember, I'm an idiot.
Jelly BLING!!

Hi KY !
I'm surviving vegas but am getting an unusual reputation for being a bit of a party pooper !
I have sort of been a 'life and soul of the party' person in the past, and took best advantage of events like this. Now however, I do not tolerate infidelity or drunk flirting so I remove myself from situations where that happens, I have a resoluion not to get drunk again, so I'm not up all night drinking as I was in the past.
So I'm not exactly having a riot !
Squid's missing me which is lovely. She sent me a txt mesage before she went to bed last night. It read " Goodnight, sweetheart. I really do love you, you know. We CAN do this XX".
That melted me a little I arranged for a big ol' bouquet of flowers to be delivered hom today for her.
She's not been well : she had a kidney infection for a few days, but thats much better now.
I wonder if she has done her homework i.e. red those chapters of the books I left? I'll find out when I get home. Don;t want to talk about in the snatches of conversation we manage right now.
She hurt me SO bad, KY but I truly love the woman. I really do.
I was hit on by a pretty colleage yesterday and it was SO easy to make a joke of it, stop it and carry on just because I adore Squid so much. I had worried I might feel "permission" to have an affair myself but I don't have even a slight temptation to.
I really hope we'll recover.

Hi AW !!!
Squid was gonna see her friend's new baby last night but chose not to go as she had this kidney infection thing. She loves babies almost as much as I do so it must have killed her !
Re the work thing, the secret is nobody actually DOES stay interested for 7.5 hours !
Being pregnant in a hot summer is very tough, I remember from Squid carrying Katie, our eldest. Pink ice cream and red jelly worked for her if I remember correctly ! That and lemonade floats !

I love work. I do various bitty jobs in HK and I swear having a job to get up for 4 mornings a week has kept me sane and occupied with all the personal drama going on in my life. But I loved being a SAHM when my girls were little. TT

Good Morning Idiotville!!
Got a question for you... pay attention Bob! I need your read on something corporate. Last night at 6:52 local time the manager that is coordinating my interviews called and added a seventh senior manager to the schedule. WTF!?!
I took it as a good sign, meaning the hiring manager is already comfortable with me and wants to knock out as many of the formal introductions as possible.
Think I'm on track??

I'm not a corporate person, but it sounds like a good thing to me. Good luck, once again, Robby. May the force be with you.

Hello Bob! Duh! Have you looked at your relationship lately? You ARE recovering! You just say things like the above because you're in the middle of it. People like me who are on the outside looking in see what a blessing you two are for each other.
Poor Squids....tell her that Kimmy says to drink lots of cranberry juice (yuck!) and take it easy. Kidney infections hoover big time!

Robby, depending on the interview process, I will only draft in all the managers affected by a take-on if I am actually PROPOSING to them that I take on a candidate.
If I'm not sure I'll interview a candidate with HR only.
If I have a 'feeling' about a candidate I'll draft in the department head thay'll be working for OR an influencer from that department so that my 'feeling' can be backed up by a practitioner.
It makes the signing off process easier inside in my company.
In summary, kiddo, it sounds very promising !

Yep, we're recoverING, no doubt !

Robby, it means they think You Da Man!!!
AW, LOL, I could never focus for 8 hours either. I'm like the kids I watch, we all have ADD.
Bob, as Kimmy said, you are in recovery. The flowers, great touch. I was telling ST about your email. He is so hurt by any kind of infedelity. It is like DDAY all over again. He could never be in Vegas like that, watching what you are. I'm glad you are staying strong, meaning, not letting your mind go crazy worrying about contact.
BTW, that is why ST doesn't post anymore, it hurts him to hear about and be apart of something that has to do with infedelity. I have heard him just like your Squid has hurt you.
As far as the young ladies throwing themselves at your feet, I'm sure you have lots of practice blowing them off.

Sounds really positive Robby......good luck
I'm doing interviews now and it is SOOOO hard to pay attention for 1 hourly periods. Private enterprise is lucky that way, you just interview the one or two who are right up there and competitive.
You have to be so fair and equal and when you have a big list of people to interview its not an easy job to remember and compare the knowledge and skills of each applicant.
And I use psychologists as well to evaluate the applicants...... and thank God for the contract worker who takes short hand and types it up for me!!
