Exactly, and you have your answer if you read your response again.

Going to the baptism is not going to make up for all of the ill-will going on in your relationship. If you wish to try to repair that, a special event is not the time. The focus should be on the baby.

Spend some time with your brother another time and try to work through a few of these issues "if" you feel the need to. This should be between the two of you as a brother and sister.

By the way, IMHO...an e-mail baptism invitation sent to your workplace hardly represents the special family occasion that they are trying to force on you. what ever happened to a nice invitation arriving in the mail at your home? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

technology happened- that and the desire to save a buck. Who ever heard of a potluck birthday for a kid, or a potluck baptsim either, all in the name of saving a buck.
