I doubt that she would accept any help from me. She hasn't yet. I never really looked at her as a big conflict avoider in the past. She was always very outspoken in her opinions. But when it comes to her own personal issues she is as big a one as I have ever met. More than I was, and that's saying something!
One thing I don't know is if she was in contact with him while we were trying to R. I would be interested to know that. It is clear that she was not over him yet. If she could have been honest about that it may have changed our approach in the beginning.

I never thought of my W as a conflict avoider either. She's also very outspoken about her opinions.
I realize now that my W was able 2 speak out about things she felt strongly about while at the same time keeping her "private life" from me.
So, I recognize now that being outspoken is a tactic for supressing doubts. And THAT is conflict avoidance!
