OK going thru the same garbage as well in FL, let me give you some input.

Mediation is REQUIRED in FL prior to the final hearing. If you have an attorney present at the mediation you CANNOT change anything once it is done, if you DO NOT have an attorney present, then you have 15 days to review & revise what you want.

My recommendation is to have your attorney coach you, and prepare you for the mediation, but have him/her sit out in the car while you are in there, that way you get the clear advantage.

If there are minor children involved then both of you will be required to attend a parenting class within 60 days of the filing.

I'm no attorney, but I have one, and I have read everything he gave me many many times.

Now he's talking about the 2 of you getting remarried again someday?! Good grief. im glad all you southerners are enjoying your nice weather! I'm freezing my butt off here in Chicago while were getting a bunch of snow dumped on us! Theres nothing like having to get up early and dig your car out of a foot of snow! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
