Cheer for the Vikings this weekend, I would LOVE to watch them go up against the Eagles next weekend!!!

Yes, so would I. The Vikes are a "soft" team and unfortunately for you I think they will get bounced easily. Mike Tice should be canned and I am hearing rumors of a Randy Moss trade. Hopefully your purple people eaters can pull it out againt Green Turd this weekend. I for onw wish Brett Favre (that old [censored]) would just retire and be done with it. SOFT??? Okay yeah we are slumping right now, but if they could pull their heads out of their arses long enought to remember what team work and DEFENSE is- we kick butt, and no one could catch us- right now their biggest competition is themselves- not the other teams. I see great potential in that man, he just needs to figure out how to keep the team motivated after the half way point, but I believe the man deserves another year, Are you serious trading Randy Moss?? That would be catestrophic (SP???) Yeah the man has an ego bigger then Hitler and showed VERY poor sportsman like conduct leaving the game early just because it was obvious we lost, bu Daunte and Randy have some Chemestry, trade one, might as well trade both. Okay not really that last part, but I really think this team has potetial, leave the coach, quaterback, and widereceiver alone, beef up the defense and I will see you at the superbowl next year!! I missed the game last weekend- how did your eagles do with out Terral? WIth all of the talent that the VIkes have there is no reason that they should be backing into the playoffs. I think the Vikes could be one of the best team in the leagues if your owner Red Mcombs wasn't such a cheap [censored] and Tice could get your lazy team to play hard all of the time. Isn't this like the 3rd year in the row they have crumped late. I like Mike Tice as a person, but if I was a Vikes fan his "potential" would be in the trashcan after this season if they didn't get deep into the playoffs. My Eagles are sucking lately....but on purpose as Andy Reid essentially forefeited two games to rest players. We'll see this weekend. I am rooting for the Vikes to beat GB though. LM

Understood- really. I see lots of talent- however I do not believe the blame rests souly on Tice. I agree that Red is a cheap SOB who really could care less about the team, only his pocket book. I too think the team could be GREAT!! Like they start out the season being, They need to figure out what takes away their motivation. And there should be punishment for those who walk off the field early like a spoiled 3 year old. Matt Birk, Kelly Campbell, Nate Burleson, Randy Moss, Michael Bennett, Daunte Cullpepper, Jermaine Wiggins, Moe Williams to name only a few have SO MUCH TALENT and so much potential, it is just not being utilized enough. I am thinking a revamping of the coaching staff might help, however that said I do not beieve that includes anyone being fired, just rearranged if you will. Yes I have a soft heart and do not wish ill on many. I am a big fan, and I guess like with my Marriage, I over look too many flaws to find the good. Looking forward to meeting you head to head in a week- hopefully. Sure would be nice to beat Green Bay even if we did "back in" as you say <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> We are in now, we need to play like we deserve to be there!

also did you find Moss' moon as offensive as so many around here? I laughed but knew he would get flack for it- money can not buy class. He always leaves is wondering.

I will not be dishing out any crow either way. I am just thrilled that they beat the Pack- to us Minnesotans that is as good as the super bowl!! I will be happy at that even if we lose against that Eagles I will be okay with that. I cheered so much yesterday my throat still hurts!!! I was doing laundry, watching the game, dancing around, jumping up and down and cheering loud enough my middle son said I scared him <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> FINALLY the OFFENSE and the DEFENCE showed up for the same game <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> I am confidant in my Vikings, always have been , I will be proud of them no matter what the out come. Looking forward to the Eagles- You were the first thing I thought of once the game was done!!
