Kloe how is everything going??? I have been thinking about you... Hope things are getting a little easier for you with the baby.. How is everything coming along with your husband?? Have you made that MC appointment yet?
Everything here is going quite well lately. Seems like since Chloe's birth things have only gotten better. And it feels good to finally be focused on my kids and myself. Seems like when I am happy and doing things for ME, everything else just falls into place.
I am searching for a job this week. Not much luck yet. I have to find a job that can work with the hours I need.
My mom is throwing a baby shower next week for me. She wanted to wait till the holidays were over. So I am excited about that. Well I am off to do some cleaning...Fun fun fun...

It's snowing here today!!!! My son is begging to go out already.
Last night I finally made myself workout. It felt wonderful. Especially knowing that if I keep it up I will be seeing positive results soon. I have been feeling really positive lately and I have been seeing positive results.
I am still reading my book on feelings. That has really helped me understand a lot of things and helped me work on the things I focus on. Now I try to fill my day with positive thoughts and things and push out the negative.
I haven't had much luck with the job thing yet but it will come when it's suppose to. Hardest part is having the patience to sit back and wait.

Hi NIML,
You sound great! I'm glad that you are feeling better and doing good things for yourself.
Check out the ads in the Washington Post Online. They have a whole bunch of jobs.
What line of work are you looking for? Maybe I can help.
Take care!
Kati

Hey Kati, I am trying to find a job around the Frederick area. I have applied for some office manager positions but heard nothing back yet. I really need a job that can work around school hours. I pick my stepson up after school and it costs so much for after school care.
I have been having a wonderful weekend. We got some snow yesterday. The kids are loving it. I am feeling so good lately. I am just trying to be positive about everything.
This week I would like to take Chloe to get her pictures taken for the first time this week. She is getting so cute. It's really funny how she already knows certain people. When she hears her daddys voice she looks all around till she finds him. She is such a blessing.
I do feel good Kati. I have been just taking one day at a time. Working on the things I can control. And most of all working on improving ME. Seems like when I am happy all the things around me seem so much better.

You are an amazing lady!
Keep up the good work-and keep exercising! It will pay off. It just feels so good doesn't it? The hard part is making time for it and sticking to it! I finally signed up for a class through the college outreach so I have to go . Don't want to waste my money you know! I just love going now..I finally feel coordiated enough to keep up and I like that. But I never do it at home because I always have other stuff to do first, and the phone rings or....you name it...I have an excuse!
Your baby sounds so stinkin cute!! I wish I could just hold her and stare at her. They are just so dreamy sweet and she sounds like an extra good baby. Lucky mom!
You keep up the good work-you sound so darn positive and happy. Way to go!

MAL, Yes it feels good. And finally being able to stick with it feels even better. I just want to build up to about 6 days a week. It's hard finding the time to workout though. Usually it's late in the evening that I get a chance to fit it in and by then I am so tired. I am thinking about getting up around 5 and doing it before the kids are up.
Yes Chloe is adorable. She is so spoiled already. If it's not my husband or me. It's my parents or my SIL. My SIL bought her 650.00 worth of jewelry for Christmas. Like a newborn baby needs that. Crazy!!!!! And my mom is constantly buying her formula and tons of cute little outfits.
She is so funny. She loves being naked. My first son when he was that age screamed his head off when it was bath time. But she loves it. I put her in the little tub and she kicks her feet and smiles. And smells sooooooo good afterwards. I love that baby smell.
I need to scan some of her pictures so I can show you guys. She is a little sweetheart. She sure has captured our hearts already.

Well we didn't get the amount of snow they were predicting.. Of course isn't that always how is is? But we did get snowed in for a day. We played some games with the kids, watched some movies and took them outside to play in the snow. Of course my four year old was in heaven.
I still haven't found a job but I haven't stopped looking or applying. I just really need to get out and take a little time away from the kids and also bring in a little extra money.
My husband just finished drawing and writing the most adorable children's book. I am helping him research publisher information. Writing a book and getting it published has always been on of his dreams/goals. I am very proud and happy for him.
EVERYTHING is looking positive lately to me. I have my down moments but I pick myself back up and keep moving. I feel the urge to go shopping again. I love that I am getting thinner but hate that my clothes don't fit anymore.
Lately I have been feeling very happy and I am still just taking one day at a time.

Hi,
Glad to hear you are doing better. Is the WS treating you well as a permanent thing?
Here's a work idea: Check out a site called the craigslist.org for your area. They have a jobs section and if you also search under the word survey or surveys, you may find some surveys which pay a few bucks here and there. Most of those research companies are looking for input from families. Some of those surveys pay $20 - $150.00 per survey. Not all may be available in your area but periodic looks may yield some $$. They even ask children's opinions on new toys, foods and stuff. My son and his cousin went to a local mall where there was a site that regularly intereviewed people and paid them. They made $10.00 each and got a new toy worth about $15.00. Not bad for 20 minutes worth of work.
Just a suggestion. I can e-mail you more.
take care, L.

Orchid, Thanks for the info. I will look into the things you have mentioned. The funny thing is while posting the last time I got a call from a place I applied for a job at. They said they will be calling me back in a few days to setup a interview.

My husband called me earlier. I heard some news that makes a person think.
His cousin cheated on his fiance. He met a woman with a three year old daughter. He was TOTALLY head over heels in love with this woman. He gave the lines that he never loved his fiance, he only was with her because he felt sorry for her, that he felt he should be with her because she has helped him so much and so on.
He carried around two cellphones. One to talk to the OW and the other to his fiance. Well finally he ended things with his finace. He moved the OW fourteen hours away from her home to live with him. She also brought her three year old and her mother. He was in total bliss.
Well that lasted for a few months. Everytime I saw him he acted happy but you could tell he wasn't. I kept telling my husband that I think he realized he made a mistake. We all told him not to jump into this relationship. Just work on himself and give himself time to be sure. Even my husband told him this.
Tonight my husband is going to dinner with him. I asked "Isn't his woman going?" He said "No, It seems that he isn't happy." You see most people don't realize what they have till it's gone. His finace TOTALLY loved him, she helped him so much, even stood by him when he did this not once but several time. Now he misses her. Especially after he heard that she is dating again.
Makes me realize that even though they are so set on wanting or doing something. Most of the time when it's built on lies, deception and hurt it doesn't last. Sure it feels good at the moment. But after reality of the situation hits... Then the doubt and unhappiness set in. Then they realize what a BIG mistake they made.

Things are going really well lately. I have been sticking to my workout all this week. I walk/jog 2.5 miles with the new Leslie Sansone walk/jog DVD. Also in the evening I workout on my Elliptical Trainer. I have been doing really well with watching what I eat. BUT seems like when I am pmsing I just want to grab anything and everything.
Wednesday I took Chloe to get her pictures taken for the first time. Of course I had to scan them as soon as I came home and send them out to everyone I know. My husband showed a lot of this coworkers and kept telling me how adorable she is. (guess he is the proud pappa)
We are getting a large tax refund back this year. So we decided to pay both of our cars off. This will be a huge relief for both of us. And I am looking forward to using the money we usually pay out for things we need, want or would like to do.
I think I will go out today and buy a Valentine present for a certain someone today. I am in a shopping mood. Course I haven't been to my favorite store (Bath & Body) for months. I think I will go treat myself.
Lately I have been writing down 10 mini goals to complete each day and emailing them to my husband. Keeps my mind off things. And when I email them to him it makes me DO them. I don't want him to say hmmmmmmmmmmmmm you didn't do what you said. So I have accomplished a lot the last few days. And I noticed I am a lot happier.

Funny that you talk about chocolate. I finished cleaning my kitchen today and threw most of what I had out. It's to tempting around this time of the month. I have been in the cleaning/organizing mood lately. Once we get the cars paid off we will start doing improvements to our house. I really want hardwood floor for our kitchen and also put another shower in our basement for when guests come to visit.
Also I am trying to figure out what to do about the two youngest kids. Chloe currently sleeps in a bassinet in our room. But eventually I may let the two youngest children share a room. My son sleeps in his crib which turned into a toddler bed. So this weekend I want to go shopping for a twin bed so Chloe can have the crib. I think she can sleep in our room till she is about a year old or so.
This weekend I want to relax, shop and hang out with some friends. Trying to stay positive and enjoy my little ones.
