SD, Squid and I only knew each other sexually until her affair.

Thats perhaps why its such a big deal in my head and heart.

And the betrayal hurts just like it hurts any BS.

Fun this, innit ? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Bob, I can see how that would make a big difference.

I also felt resentment because my FWW was not big on meeting my need for SF, certainly my top need before, and now just behind Radical Honesty and Openness (go figure).

The fact that she took passion to the OM, when it has not totally returned to our marriage still stumps me, especially when she now professes her sorrow for the A, and professes she's never felt stronger for me.

As I said in the previous post, there are still discussions to be had, and often, as with your Squiddy, it like pulling teeth to get them to speak about their feelings.

It's fun, like a root canal.... <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" />

You have always had the inner resolve to get through all this, and it's shown through in your posts. I'm marking a date 2 years from the last (known and verified) contact as the start of recovery, and there's better than a year to go. I'll pour my heart and soul into endeavoring to get this marriage to be a full partnership until that date, then, if I'm not satisfied, other options may be considered.

Best wishes,
SD

SD you said You have always had the inner resolve to get through all this, and it's shown through in your posts.

Ain't felt like that SD.

Theres been days of no resolve. Still are in fact.

I agree with your timscale BTW.

I will review our lives 1 year, 18 months and 2 years from d-day in prayer and I will take decisions based on the status I see then.
I hope and pray Squid keeps on recovering at the rate she has already.

I want to spend my life with her, but I won't shackle her.
Thanks Sd. Sage words.
