Faithful, you are certainly welcome if you meet one of these criteria:

1. You are a normal, red-blooded Texan.
2. You are one of them Yankees.
3. You are a different kind of foreigner.

Dear Lord,

I am having so much fun reading this thread. Of course I do have a few advantages. I lived in TX, married a TX girl who love Hush puppies and fried catfish, AND chicken fried steak.

However, I have lived on the LEFT COAST for a quite awhile and an you cannot get food like that around here. Oddly, not even good Mexican food, and while I love Tex Mex, I really love New Mexican mexican food.

But, I have also lived up NORTH for many years and while they don't admit it they do eat flounder, as well as crab and lobster ALL BOTTOM FEEDERS.

But, my biggest advantage is I have been to NZ and folks we are talking ONE BEAUTIFUL country and Jen's city is magnificent. AND I have spent some time in Aussie's country as well, talk about good fun.

So I can see why this thread is doing so well...a bunch of people that realize that bragging is AN ARTFORM.

I am still concerned about Pepper head to the south. Folks, that could be a scary thing.

Just wanted to say I am enjoying this thread. Big hair, now there is an artform.

JL, it is not easy dealing with these huge yankee and EYE-talian egos. This place is just crawling with em!

Did you perchance see any dingoes while you were in NZ? I am in desperate need of a dingo siting for a little face saving. Even a big DOG would suffice!

If you married a Texas gal, I would wager that she can cut up a chicken and make good gravy. Lucky man!

ARK: I think some of us may need a few more hints...or I may be a bit slow.
