I asked the OW the same thing.....we have been married for 15 yrs. also.
I am really feeling low tonight. I'm crying and I just feel so alone. My son is with my STBX tonight. I went to a friends house and had a good time but now I just feel so lonely. When does this go away? God...I just don't know how much more I can take. I just feel so defeated!!!

Tree - How are you doing today??? I am not gonna tell you that you won't have days and nights like this - but really it will become easier - soon it is like he will become a stranger and you wont' dwell on it as much... Though the being lonely does suck and I am still a victim of that - I mean it is ok being the 3rd,5th,7th wheel but sometimes you are just not in the mood - but you have to pull yourself out of this rutt... You are the only one with the power.... Do you have single friends??? That is what you need - and by the way what I need also - and get out and have some fun..... You know??? Do something for you ....
