Hi guys,
I wish I could get to them before H and OW arrive in SPain, but they are going on Saturday. I only have a day to get the info!
It might be possible to get in touch with them whilst H and OW are still staying there - sometime next week. I'll phone the PI tomorrow - top priority!

Have you tried to do your own preliminary search on the internet white pages for the area where they live in Spain. Is it a common name? Do you turn up many with the same surname?

I wonder if it wouldn't even be better to make the call while they are there? Have you thought what you would do if they only speak Spanish? Do you speak Spanish?

It's possible.
I have a friend who lives in spain - I'm sure he'd translate a letter if I emailed it to him and then he could send it on to them.

I think the father probably does speak english - he's a retired captain from the Spanish army.
I wouldn't ask my friend to do that - I could ring them myself, and if they didn't speak english he could send the letter.

I searched on the internet for OW name and her parents name. There are all kinds of search engines you can use. You just have to search on google.com.
It would work out best if you could do it before or during their visit to really blow it out of the water.

I did a search for white pages in spain and infobel.com came up.
Also other white page search engines came up as well. You should be able to find out something that way.

Alph, try the babel fish translation service Click Here works well enough to scrape by on foreign language websites I find. I have trusted colleagues in Spain if you need any local help.

Tried to find info that I needed, but failed. So...
Will be hiring the PI this morning! If this saves my marriage, the money will be worth it.
I am also going to telephone the school this morning. The secretaries always ask 'what is the call regarding' when you ask to speak to the head, and I intend to tell them exactly what it's regarding too. The secretaries are all very fond of H...
Can anyone offer me advise about speaking to the head - I'm fired up for this now and I don't want to back off again.

Wite speaker notes before you talk to him so you won't get flusteres or be short of words.
Also write down the objective of your call an dremind teh head of it.
Get a date for his action.
If he says " its none of my business" remind him that its a Christian school teaching Christian values to children and that supporting infidelity would not be something you feel teh Church would expect to be expressed there.

Well, the PI is on the case.
I've phoned the school, but the headmaster has just suffered a bereavement and can't talk to me at the moment!
I've also asked to speak to the school chaplain, but he was teaching. He will be ringing me back.
I feel ill!

Looks like you have already started your PI work. Here's another idea: Howz about you call OW's parents....anonymusly (sp???). Let them know that their 'daughter' is bringing over a man of questionable character. He has not been acting himself. He has abandoned his family and done other questionable acts.
