Nah, TA is not that good a writer. I'm with Lemonman: What the hell is a shrug??? Well, it isn't as if he's trying to hide his identity by giving his workplace (if real)and other info on ICQ. It doesn't exactly say he was looking for women. I think he's real. I think he works for the Trib. I think his name is really Barry. Just like the dog is really Jakob. (Poor poodle!) How do you know that this is not a story assignment and this will all be in tomorrow's paper? Trust me, pep. This isn't a story assignment. If it were, and if it ran, they'd get letters from here to kingdom come about abusing the already abused. Making fun of the wounded and crippled won't count as a story in any self-respecting newspaper (though I suppose there are many who aren't). Our beloved coach smells like a wannabe. Though he says he likes "literature" on the other site, there's not much evidence of it in his posts. It's all the stuff of "Dallas"-type schlock fiction -- which is what made it believable, frankly. If it sounded like "Madame Bovary" or "Resurrection," it would sound phony. The point is, our lives are filled with cheesey things. I'm real, and who'd believe my story? Who'd believe Danigirl's story? There's lots of weird stories on here, with sordid soap opera stuff. His was just wilder than most.
