Well, one thing for certain is that you know you can't live like this forever. It has already taken a significant toll on you emotionally and mentally. I realize you would like nothing more than to have your W back, but you also need to be prepared for the fact that she may not. Unfortunately, M is a 2-way street. BOTH of you will have to want to make it work. I think a healthy Plan B (for you) is also setting a timeline that YOU can live with. Once you've reached the end of that timeline, you'll need to be comforted in the fact that you've done all that you can, and it's truly time to move on. And, if she still won't budge, you'll need to let go and move on. Again, you cannot live like this for the rest of your life. Give the timeline some thought. Figure out what you can/cannot live with and stick to it. In the meantime, prepare yourself for anything that may come your way. Meaning, continue to improve yourself - be it your job, your health, your income, your physical fitness, your house, your attitude. Anything that will help you become a healthier, happier, more confident human being. If anything, do it for YOU!

I know this is all very hard to do, esp. when you feel so down and out, but you MUST do it for YOURSELF! Let me know what you decide. We'll help you through it!

Take care,

Whisper

EEMD,

I don't know your age, but it is possible for you to join the military? That was the best thing my H could've done to straighten out his/our life when we were just getting started.
