No, but Pete's Mom and Daisey Mae are neighbors...
Pete's mom has been reading the forums for a long time. She's my neighbor. Her name is Lori and she is 46. Pete is her almost teenager. I moved in next door. My name is Daphne and I am 57. I dont have any kids of my own. We live in neighboring condos. I have hi speed wireless internet and a laptop, so we have been sitting by the pool, talking about life and our problems and triumphs. She introduced me to MB and so I decided to give it a try. Thats how she came to post under my name the other day, I forgot to log out.
Seems like everyone likes to think the worst around here.
But after seeing her struggle and reading what some people wrote, I decided its not the place for me, either. Me n Lori, our stories are different but similar. We really can't advise one another well on this matter. She doesn't think my H is cheating but thought it would be a good idea to see what other people think. I thought her writing a letter was a good idea, with some of the same caveats the other people had, but she wasn't so sure.
Some of you have been really helpful, to her and to me. Some have you have been downright mean. All I can say is, if some of you were in my bridge club, I'd find another hobby.
