Yeah, she would not want to make me mad. I have pics of her "nerly nekkid" and being chased by a pink flamingo!

Don't I know it....this weekend totally $ucks to be here in a hospital. Every moron this side of the Mississippi is celebrating the "holiday" blowing things up, including their GD own hands and other limbs causing trauma alerts all damn night and day.

I should have been an accountant. Now that is the ticket.

Squid and I first visited the US in 1989 as lovely young things.

We were on Ft Lauderdale beach on July 4th and they had fireworks barges just off the sound.

Freakin' things were like NUKES and we got showered in cordite and burning shrapnel !
One took the bottom out of a barge and scuttled it, another blew off garfieds ear ( a huge sand sculpture!).

What fun ! What a nation ! What a party !

I watched the most magnificant fireworks show I have ever seen last year in the New York harbor. My company rented out Ellis Island for a group of us with our spouses and put on a fireworks show for us. It was fabulous and unforgettable with the New York City skyline in the background. Fireworks are awesome! This picture doesn't do it justice, but it will give you an idea of how big it was.
