Welp, just heard from H and it seems the last leg of his flight has been cancelled. He and another inspector may have to drive from Jacksonville to Tallahasee. ;( The worrying countdown begins. I'll survive though....cuz' I'm an Xbs. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> L.

I hate the drive from jacksonville to tally... all trees, nothing to look at ;-p
We keep getting rain, but not really strong winds. The tracking maps seem to put Tallahassee out of the direct path of the hurricane, but we'll be getting lots of rain and maybe some strong winds tomorrow.
So far so good.

G'morn all, Well, H is now stranded at Charolotte SC's airport. At this time flights into Tallahassee and even Gainesville have been cncelled. Tried checking for bus and train schedules but Greyhound isn't running into Tallahassee at this time due to the hurricane and couldn't find AMTrak into that city. I have been getting check ins from about every 2 hours or so. May have to go visit Starbucks for a double expresso mocha with an extra shot of chocolate. Stay safe, Susan! I hear the wind is kicking up in Pascagoula, Biloxi, et al. I'm north of you a bit, just east of I-55 (home of the SPQs!) We were in Gulfport earlier in the week for a vacation, but scooted home Friday. If you need to leave, you just come up here and I'll fix you some bacon and other comfort food.
A friend in Montgomery says it's been raining there for 2 hours already. Much worse that way I think than where I am.
