this is exactly how i feel now...



we move away from our families and didn't socialize it was just US. now it's just ME.

everyone keeps telling me that i need to "get a life" in case he doesn't come back. But i don't want a life without him. He was my life.

i know people are telling me what is in my best interest-to be prepared in case he doesn't come back.

i've tried-i can't

YES, YOU CAN!!! Please stop saying this to yourself...what you tell yourself significantly influences your abilities...

What I Miss About Me
I miss the woman who trusted her husband totally.

I miss the woman who could laugh and felt generally happy looking at a sunset, at seeing small children suck their thumbs and clutch their mother’s blouse, who could feel confirmed and whole and joyous at young people's weddings.

I miss the woman who never had panic attacks – that heart-squeezing feeling.

I miss the woman who never felt she had to check up on her husband – where is he going? Who is he talking to? Why is he leaving the room to talk on the cellphone?

I miss the woman who felt pride at her righteous husband.

I miss the woman who felt safe and secure.

I miss the woman who knew her husband loved her.

I miss the woman who knew she didn’t have to worry about STDs.

I miss the woman who viewed computers as benign machines used for business purposes instead of affair communication tools.

I miss the woman who had a vision of the future: of herself and her husband at their 50th wedding anniversary party still deeply in love and full of affection and admiration for one another.

I really miss her.
